TRT, BPC157 and healing

I was wondering if anyone knew exactly how effective BPC-157 is when healing mild injuries, torn tendons or muscles, and does it promote muscle growth to an extend due to its muscle healing benefits.

Also, someone on trt (or even higher doages) vs natural is there any promoted healing benefits with mild injuries as well?

NOTE: This is just for general question disregarding health disadvantages being on trt or bpc and strictly trt/bpc muscle healing effects.

This is such a great question we’re scheduling it on social so that more people can see it and answer. (Just in case you’re wondering why we added a picture at the top.)

My understanding is that after a certain point, testosterone can slow collagen synthesis. So, in that case it would slow healing in some cases. The exact amount I am not certain. However, I don’t believe there is any worries at typical TRT doses.

As for peptides, I have some experience with them, and all have been positive. CJC 1295 and PT 141 are the two I’ve used. This particular one, I have not personally used and can only tell you that bodybuilding friends use and find them to be beneficial. Though, I can’t confirm the results.

I know, not much help. lol.

I didn’t get much out of BPC157.

I did notice significantly reduced recovery time with growth hormone secretagogues and anecdotally believe it helped strengthen joints. I experience significantly fewer crackles and pops and nagging soreness in a knee and shoulder are gone. My finger nails and hair grew notably faster too. I tried both Sermorelin and cjc1295/ipamorelin. My preference was Sermorelin.

Speedy muscle recovery was quick to realize. It took about two weeks to really notice. Joints and nagging pain took time and I would say I noticed a change around three months. I would cycle it three months on and three months off and did so over eighteen months.

I’ve been off it for close to 6 months and while the muscle recovery is gone, whatever help it gave in repairing joints has lasted. I’ll probably come back to it every few years at this point. It’s a literal fountain of youth.

Wow. Really surprised by your response Dani. A ā€œtorn tendonā€ is a ā€œmild injuryā€? Maybe Chris-by-osmosis ISNT a good business model nor a healthy approach to the community?

Which response? The one where I said we are going to share this post on social or the one where I said thank you?

Please show me where I mentioned anything about a torn tendon. Copy and paste my exact words.

Perhaps you read someone else’s comment or the original post (written by someone else) and attributed it to the wrong person.

About a year ago, I accidentally cut my thumb tendon in half. Got emergency surgery and started using BPC 157. 6 weeks later at the follow-up my surgeon said I needed a second surgery because they didn’t connect the tendon properly as seen on an MRI.

During the second surgery the surgeon said when he opened my thumb up that I had ā€œextreme scar tissue formationā€ where the first tendon repair happened and he has never seen that sort of scarring and healing happen in such a short amount of time. He was so baffled by it that he actually wrote down in my chart ā€˜extreme healing’. During his visit post-op he asked me if I was taking HGH. I said no, and told him it was BPC. He said to keep at it.
Scar tissue formation is part of the healing process, especially in deeper or larger wounds such as tendon or muscle injury.

The original question was "I was wondering if anyone knew exactly how effective BPC-157 is when healing MILD injuries like torn tendons or muscles…

To which you gleefully replied ā€œWHAT A GREAT QUESTIONā€¦ā€

See that?

Many people are interested in the potential healing properties of BPC-157 and TRT. So this is a fantastic discussion… as you can see from all the responses.

So far you’re the only one offended by the word, mild. Sure most people would consider that a more severe injury, but that’s not what his question was about.

His opinion of what constitutes a mild injury is up to him, and it doesn’t make this discussion any less valuable. Have a blessed day.

I’ve had success with BPC on some overuse injuries and two bicep tendon surgeries. It’s doesn’t ā€œcureā€ every injury, but for me, it has greatly accelerate healing and made chronic injuries more manageable.

Did you use TB-500 as well? What was your dosing protocol?

I have used both and never really noticed much, but your doctor’s statement is interesting.

No. Just BPC 157.

500mcg/day 2x per day for 12 weeks. Last couple of weeks I took 800mcg/day.

I think most people overlook the fact that BPC needs to be secured and kept in certain environmental conditions both in powder and constituted form so as not to degrade in quality.

Edit: wrote non-constituted instead of constituted.

I’ve been recommended BCP157 a couple of times, but even with the recommendation has come a mixed bag of success and side effects, so I’ve not ventured into giving it a whirl. But I might having read some of these posts

I see it can be taken as a tab or injected if I’m not mistake. Is one superior to another or just down to preference?

Also, being in the UK. Any recommendations on where to buy and brand / manufacturer?

You are correct. As with most products, injection usually has better bioavailability that pills. BPC also comes in a nasal spray. I have found the best results when BPC157 id paired with TB500. There is a noticeable difference when paired over running BPC on it’s own.

Thanks buddy. I’ve booked for a private MRI to see if that gives any further insight. I’ll do that first before potentially looking at the likes of BCP157

Curious what you thought about PT 141? Wife just got a vial but has read some bad side effect stories.

PT 141 certainly works well in a dose dependent manner. The more you take the better it works. However, at the same time I had really bad temporary nausea that was stronger and lasted longer the more I took. I mean it actually made me puke at 2mg dose. This went away after a bit, while the benefits lasted many hours. So, be prepared to deal with the nausea and then, once that’s finished, it certainly increases sensitivity very well. We had a lot of laughs over the fact that I was hard and stayed hard for maybe about 6 hours. Never got painful, but was concerning. I even went to sleep for a bit and woke up still ready to go. I experimented with dosing a bit and would consider doing it again. 1 mg was enough to enhance my performance capabilities and the nausea was tolerable at that dose. Yall will likely have to try a bit of experimentation yourselves to see what works for you. I did this just for fun, so I can’t speak as someone who actually needed to take it to perform. Hope that helps.
