TRT and Weight Loss

I was curious to see if any of you guys had better luck at dropping the pounds when doing TRT.

I just started the androgel 4 pumps a day. I had a 198 level and have just been packing the lbs on even after working out hard and watching my food intake.

Thanks in advance.

My doc put me on ANDROL GEL 2.5 then 5 grams.then 7 ,now 10…seems to be doing nothing…my test was 201 ng’s
*he swore to be that low i would have to be doing drugs…I never have ever…10 dont seem to be working…whats next ? injection ?
any way to help the androl gel work better ?
any info or tips would be great…

I would find another doctor if I were you. Some people just don’t absorb the gel. I was 1 of those. I didn’t play the game long though and went out and found a great doctor. I do injections and I like those better anyways. A lot more freedom with injections. Your doctor needs to know about all the side effects that could arise and probably will doing TRT. this is very important. Good luck.

Your doctor is an ass. It is widely known that some people do not respond to Androgel and get little or nothing from it. Blaming you for that just shows that not only is he ignorant, he’s rude. Personally, I wouldn’t put up with that shit from anyone, especially someone I am paying for help.

TRT is serious business and so your first priority should be to educate yourself about it to the point that you know as much or more about it as a TRT specialist. It isn’t hard to do that if you apply yourself. As for treatment, dump this asshole and find someone who knows what he’s doing or you will be sunk.

Yes, injections are the way to go combined with an aromatase inhibitor and hCG. When you go to the new doctor, insist that he include E2 levels in your blood tests.

Here is a good place to start your education:

Yes it will make a big difference. for 1 you can use all that balls & determination to push even further. Really is should. In my case it was a major change. I am making gains a gain and i also fought through it to get it done. Now I constantly increase something. Weather it be weights, sets, or reps i is always being pushed further than the last workout.

My experience: With Low T I was loosing muscle and gaining fat. No weight change, and I had reduced eating.

With TRT, I gained muscle and lost fat, eating more and no weight change.

I went from 33" waist to a loose 31"

No cardio, some lifting. Adex helped a lot.

my body fat gets so bad so easy…and im very into nutriton…I can gain 10lbs a months if i stop exerciseing…I had surgery…gained 45 lbs fast…I was 192 lbs 26% body fat…I lost 42lbs went to 7.2% in 4 months…felt like crap most of the time…and low cals of course…I gain weight just looking at food…hard for me to build muscle…and I do hours of cardio just to not get fat…this am I ran 6 miles at like 8mph…ill barely lose any weight…
