Wondering if TRT has helped anyone with muscle soreness. I work as a chef which involves me being on my feet for 10hrs a day walking around alot. I usually come home from work my legs feeling very very sore, some days worse than others.
Before I had my low T problems I would never feel this sore. TRT should resolve this correct?
Are you over weight? Do you exersize? Ride a bike or hike?
TRT by itself will not fix you it will help you do these other things and that should help with your issues. hth
We need to see labs, your levels may not be high enough, or perhaps you aren’t injecting frequently enough. I had the same problem injecting once or twice weekly even though my levels were on the higher end.
I don’t respond well to TRT if my levels are declining too much between injections, it almost feels like I’m not on TRT injecting twice-weekly . There could be mineral deficiencies or other hormonal problems.
I noticed improvement in my joints around two weeks after starting TRT. Improvement in joint pain and stiffness is commonly reported by guys on TRT. Are you on testosterone now? If so, and it is not helping, are you using an aromatase inhibitor?
Before TRT I was walking down the stairs sideways so my feet wouldn’t flex over the nose in the morning. My ankles and feet were so stiff it hurt to bend them in anyway and would have to limp until they would loosen up for the day. It’s gone now after starting TRT.
I am significantly more sore on TRT. I never got sore from lifting when I had low T, now I am always sore and having issues with flexibility in my shoulders and chest.
Not currently on TRT still trying to get prescribed. Labs have ranged from high 500s to high 200s over the past 6 months. I’m hoping once all this is resolved my muscle soreness issue will at least improve.
I get a decent amount of excercise but have a hernia that needs surgery and prevents me from being as active as I’d like.
For the first 6 months on T I couldn’t get sore no matter how heavy I lifted. Then that went away and now I get sore. But nothing like pre-T. I’m 46 and T has helped a ton in the gym.
