Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t your TSH high normal? I also remember you seem disenchanted with taking thyroid medicine for life, am I incorrect?

Hello system Lord actually no my TSH is Pretty normal had it taken a few times last time and it was this past November and it was like 2100 noo I am not taking a thyroid medication so I don’t think that’s the problem here

Must have been someone else, 2.1 is fine as people don’t start noticing symptoms until >3.0 and by 4.0> notice full blown symptoms.

No I think it was me a while back like almost a year or so ago when I wrote on here and you put a few things and we kind of went back and forth but then as time went on but had it taken like 3 Times in the last yr and a few months so I’m not really sure what’s making me feel this way! My estrogen was Real high at one time but has been normal range last time I drew it months ago a 20 so not sure

Thyroid and Testosterone are the only two feel good hormone a man has. If trt does not produce well being you need to check thyroid because that is a huge factor in energy and even allowing trt to work.

I had the same issues. 3 months trt and no benefit but labido. I got t4/t3 med and literally 1 hour after taking my first pill my entire life changed for the better. I had energy and felt noticeably better. Since then I have not taken a midday nap and I continue to improve.

Enackers thank you for the response! I wrote in the above message above the last message to Systemlord That my thyroid is fine and I had my T3 and T4 Tsh checked back at the end of October and it was pretty Normal! So I’m not really sure! What are u taking that worked so fast for you? Ps how old are you

I’m 40 and your levels could be normal for the range but not for you. You want to get the t4/3 up to high normal and see if that helps. So if it’s 3 out of 1-6 get it up to 6. Just like free t could be within range, but does not help becuse you need more.

Regardless I’m under the impression that If you are optimizing T to high normal , then the thyroid should be high normal as well.

I took some compounded thyroid that has t4 and t3 in the capsule. T4/t3 38-9 mcg per capsule

TRT will work best when Free T3 is high normal, Free T3 is what drives the liver to metabolize testosterone, so the higher the value, the more effective TRT will be. These labs only show what thyroid hormone were in those few hours, thyroid can look normal in the first half of the day and low normal towards the end of the day, over time this scenario would cause symptoms.

There is medical literature showing people with normal thyroid labs benefiting greatly from thyroid treatment, it’s thought there is some kind of resistance at the T3 receptors requiring high levels of thyroid hormone to reach normality.

thank you for the messages guys! Enackers I am not up on this stuff as much as a lot of people are but when you say optimizing the T higher than the thyroid I’m kind of trying to understand what that means please? As far as the compound you take is it like a synthetic drug like you would get from an endocrinologist or doctor like Synthroid? Is this something you have to be on for life that you’re taking what has some of the T3 T4 in it? I’m not really up on this stuff more info the better please and systemlord so basically the only way you can fix this you guys are telling me is to taking some kind of thyroid drug? I heard it has a lot of harm on the system it kind of wacks your hormones out and body and it just changes your whole body! Is it something you have to take for life? Is there all types of thryroid stuff out there? I’m not too familiar but I appreciate any input from you guys thank you

System makes allot of sense and you should watch this video as well. He goes through it all.

Rockyo you can always opt for bioidentical thyroid medicine if you have concerns regarding synthetic hormones, I would prefer bioidentical or even natural desiccated thyroid which uses pig thyroid hormones which is identical to human thyroid hormones.

If your thyroid lack consistency, like say two high TSH and one good TSH score, this would indicate the thyroid is struggling some of the time and is why you have symptoms, discontinuation of thyroid medicine would bring you back to the inconsistency you experienced before treatment.

A lot of these hormone specialists are starting to recommend optimising both testosterone and thyroid hormones to reap even more benefit from TRT.

Where is your ferritin at now? What are you taking for it, specifically? Are you taking folate (or Folic Acid)?

Also you can opt for cow not if you don’t eat or like pork for whatever reason.

Good morning Enakers Systemlord and friends just reading this all your messages thank you so much for the input.

I really appreciate it I don’t understand kind of what it means I watched the video little bit but I would do anything just to feel good like I said sluggish tired and not as much energy during the day!

This all sounds exactly what I’m feeling what these doctors talked about but just not sure how to go about it.

Ive been on trt for two and a half years then I stopped for like 4 months and went back on it over a year ago mixed HCG with it recently still and before but still don’t feel that great!

So I’m going to I guess to listen better to Video and try understand more what to do exactly. i appreciate all your help guys!

If you have any other input please put it out there I’m just not very good at all this stuff A lot of people are not up on this stuff were i live at the Jersey Shore!

I watched that video again of the doctors again and it’s just confusing to me! So I’m not sure what kind of protocol and optimizing my thyroid? Please maybe one of you guys could help me with this it’s very confusing! So please if anybody can help thank you so much blessings

Have you tried just TRT and no hCG?

Yes I have!

What’s your current protocol? When you stopped trt, you lost all the weight? How tall, old, what’s your waist size and how much do you weight?
