Good morning guys it was a few questions I missed above Mr hardartery as far as my fertin! I’ve had a problem with like for over a year it was very low came in at a 10! It’s prabaly been low for awhile some one said get it done! So I did! I also was donating blood every 3-4 months don’t think that was good to do? I’ve been able to raise it slowly with Iron Supplements only got it up to a 42 going it takes awhile i next wk it’s to do again! Its been almost 3 months since my last test
Ps no I haven’t taken Folic Acid any input please
Good morning Systemlord And enakers I wrote back the other day but no response? My question is I watched the video it’s a little confusing what’s your take or protocol that would be good to start optimizing the T and my thyroid? How do you go about it enakers? You said you did something for your T3 T4 that your taking? So I’m not really sure! I just want to feel good because I am very sluggish during the day not a lot of energy! I take nap here and there just want to feel strong! So you guys please you’re up on the stuff I’m not please help out any input guys please thank you Rocky
Low Iron is often tied to B12 and /or folate deficiency. If you supplement B12, you should always supplement folate with it, as the influx of B12 can quickly cause a folate deficiency. More than 40% of whites and latinos (estimated number) have methylation issues due to genetics, so it is best to avoid Folic Acid (synthetic version of folate) as you may not actually be able to process it but it will skew your bloodwork. In short, get some B12 and folate or methyl folate (both are available sublingual from Amazon among others) and add that in, it should help with your anemia.
Sorry I did not see your response. Use the

I know you don’t have any good docs there but your running around in circles trying to get well. Why don’t you call a trt specialist like dr saya at defy or dr Keith Nichols over at tier1hw …
You should be getting labs every couple months until you feel dialed in. Make sure your doing this so you know what your body is doing dose to dose. Otherwise it’s a shot in the dark for you and your doc. I’m sure some guys here can help give you a better understanding of labs as well.
I mentioned thyroid because that’s what was my issue and was causing my fatigue.
Just remember there are two major feels good hormones in men. Thyroid and Testostorone. Everything else is secondary. So if your on T and it’s not removing fatigue , the docs normally suggest checking thyroid.
I know you checked thyroid and were told it’s fine, but again that’s an issue. These endos and urologists look at ranges. It could very well be that a trt doc looks at your thyroid and says “ah hah you need help here take this”…:: until then your going to be chasing your tail: I suggest going online looking up those two docs and setting an appointment to get yourself professional guidance.
I would take issue that everything else is secondary to T and thyroid. Dopamine and Serotonin can have at least as profound of an effect, and PTH excess will crush you no matter what else is going on.
Good evening Hostile as far as my Protocol you asked! I do a little more then a 1/2 a ml of T a week! I split it up! I do two days a week Mondays and Thursdays injections usually! I did do the HCG for a while did that twice a week but stopped now! Did 250 IU’s! I’m not on at all i stopped! my height, 6-1 like 210 lbs now! I eat pretty heathy work out 3-4 days a wk! So not sure any input please thanks
Enakers thank you for the input I hit reply so hope u read this! I appreciate your help in every way! But as far as finding a good doctor!
I found a really good endocrinologist last year! He’s a hr away but thats ok! He gives me any tests I want whatever I need I get! I get my trt therapy stuff from him he’s a good doc! n
And as far as the blood tests a while back he saw something with my thyroid! I guess the numbers were off alittle and he wanted me to take a low dose of Synthroid which I guess is a synthetic perscription!!
So it was like 4 months ago or a little longer! I was getting the script but I did not take it! I wanted to go the more natural way to help the thyroid if i could from taking like selenium and other natural supplements to help it! I just didn’t want to take a synthetic drug like that!
I heard it wacks everything out and more so not sure really what to doo! I do go see him next week for my two or three month visit and I get all my Scripts and blood work stuff to get done from him!
So I don’t know I appreciate all your help you’ve been great thank you for taking the time! I just want to feel good thank you any other input appreciate it maybe other meds or anything that may help!
PS I think I got checked again after a while my numbers and everything was good for the thyroid but like you said they just look at the normal range so I’m not really sure there’s anything else or any kind of other types of stuff I can take or ask him for please throw it out there I really appreciate it
Thank you for the message and input yes the ferritin has been very low but slowly coming up but as far as the iron I got my panel check twice the last 8-9 months and it showing good numbers! Someone else mentioned about getting a IV drip ferritin his mom got it done a while back hers was really low he said she did it a few times and she felt like a new person so I will be going to see the doctor that checks my ferritin hematologist but I’ve been going to and it’s a 3 month visit I go this week to get it done again check it so I’ll know the levels more but the last one preferred 10 came up to 42 started at a 10 most a year ago came up to like a 22 and then got another blood test many months later and that’s when it came up to 42 so I’m not really sure but thank you for the input I’ll look into that stuff there’s anything else you can throw out there I appreciate it thank you
Ok good. Sorry I don’t mean a good doc. I mean someone who is a private care doc and not stuck within the confines of the healthcare system. Because of lab ranges. You know what I mean brother.
I know this stuff confuses you but this doc is very clear and his video is easy to understand.
Thyroid might not be your problem but it is a big reason for fatigue in men. Obviously there could be a bagillion other things. It sounds like you are not sure and that’s why the guys are telling you to check it properly and don’t use the ranges as a guide.
So do not neglect or drag your feet on this. It might be your saving grace. Synthoid sucks and isn’t very effective but it does work for some. I would ask for armor thyroid. If he says no you can try the synthoid. If synthoid doesn’t work do not throw your hands up and say my thyroids fine. T4/t3 or armor thyroid might work better.
Thank you so much I will watch the video and try to understand that all I do appreciate you taking the time and trying to help me and as far as the thyroid drug yes Synthroid!
I heard is not that good but I just actually looked up the armor one that you recommended and I guess that’s not synthetic if I’m correct and you’re saying it’s a lot better I do appreciate your help thank you so much hopefully I can get this underhand!
Many months ago someone mentioned to me and they said it I should definitely get this done which I just recently got the kit from labcorp to get my cortisol saliva test 4 times in a day!
To take that cuz It has a lot to do with the perritory glands! So we’ll see but ill try two listen carefully to this doctor on the video! And yes everything is confusing to me with this stuff!
I’m not really good at this stuff thank you so much any other input please throw it out there knowledge is power thank you
No worries. Don’t forget I’m jsut a regular guy who is passing along information. I’m not a doc and you really need to find a doc who has a good handle on this so that your not second guessing and having to deal with issues months on end.
Also the synthoid is a medicine and the t4/t3 is desiccated thyroid taken from cow and pig. They somehow put it into a pill for us humans. I think synthoid is synthetic and armor thyroid is not or it’s natural. Not sure what to call it. Either way it works so don’t worry about that.
Call defy medical or Nelson virgil at excelmale.com or Dr. Keith Nichols at tier1hw.com you’ll be in much better hands if you go that route. I think that’s what you need. Someone who can guide you and you have full confidence in their abilities. It’s cheap considering the peace of mind knowing your in good hands.
Anyways good luck and let us know how it goes friend.
Hello Enakers thank you so much for the message back! So as far as the thyroid medication you highly recommend that one! So I guess you get it from a trt doctor that you’re going to?
I do know nelson from his site and posts etc! Good stuff! Maybe you can help me with this one quick question Question I’ve always had long hair like you see it in my picture on here! But after I was doing the trt for 2 and 1/2 years and I stopped for 4 months because I had some sesonal stuff going on!
But started almost a year ago again! But I noticed my hair has been thinning and has been whacked out For a while now!!
Sooo It’s really bothering me now a lot because I always had thicker and longer hair than most! So I’m not sure what that is?
I’ve taken a good amount of biotin and any other supplements that are pretty good for the hair! Any input on this subject would be great from you or anybody else hair thinning and more please advise thank you
Yup no clue sorry. I’m sure someone knows more about it.
Thank you I figured I’d ask! The video you sent me is pretty wild it gets heavy but optimizing the thyroid and whatever else i need to do too feel good! So gonna listen again to the vid! It’s on my YouTube library
So hopefully I can get this thing rolling maybe I should go and have a whole thyroid panel done again? Too see exactly where I’m at again? Thanks for your help my friend
If you did a panel in the last several months and it shows a fault thyroid I would just try the pills.
I think many folks have commented that It’s typical for trt guys to continue feeling fatigue if their thyroids not operating optimally.
Jsut try it and see if it makes a change in your energy levels.
Enakers Here’s my numbers for a few thungs! I just copied them I did thyroid tests in early October 2018! Please see what you think? I also did lots of tests here’s thyroid and b12! Hers my T and estrogen levels got done Feb 1st 2019
