TRT and Hcg For Almost 3 Months, Lots of Weight Gain. Labs Below

Good morning mr. Watts happy Sunday my friend listen I have a question about HCG I had a few doctors that have articles about it that when taking HCG you take it one week on three weeks off?

Here’s an article that was from a doctor and he explains that is this how you really should take it!

I’m going to be starting it in a few weeks like I said after I get my blood test the hopefully my testosterone is under 300! I would love to hear your input cuz you probably know all this stuff mr. Watts

thank you so much and just let me know please just hit on the website below here and it will open up I placed it for you thank you please advise

Yeah I don’t know much about HCG other than it keeps your testes working. If you do go on it will need to be after your multiple blood tests (3 or 4?) to show you below 300.

Thanks for the reply as far as blood tests like I said I haven’t done a testosterone free or total probably over three and a half months now but like I said I’ve been on that low dose for a month and a half or so and! I was trying to go get a prostate exam again once a year that I go in mid-January it’s a year and what he did last year is he checked my testosterone free and total

He saw that it was well under 300 right away put me on testosterone again!

So I’m hoping when I go that he does pull my blood any checks that! But if not I already have a script from my Endo!

I’ve had in the system that I never did again was for testosterone total and free and estrogen-sensitive that I haven’t done yet and like three months and it was really high!
So not sure hoping it will be under 300 when I go cuz then I’ll get covered through my insurance for a year because it is so low again!! Please any other input I do appreciate it thank you

Im confused Rocky. If you’ve already shown to be low T and the doc put you on T you shouldn’t have to again show you are low T to continue to get the script. Maybe I am missing something

Mr. Watts I am sorry if I confused you my writing gets out of hand sometimes what I’m trying to say is I’ve been back on testosterone for almost a year that urologist is the one that screwed up and took me off for 5 months!

So I went to him last January and he did a prostate exam and a blood test and it was very low 257!

So right away he put me on testosterone again gave me the script but then what I did is I’ve been getting my script from my endrocrinologist but like I said my testosterone has been very low it’s probably been in the mid 400s! I got it that high months ago but what it is is my insurance is a year on January 20th!!

So they would have to retest you and if your T is lower than 300 they will cover you for insurance for a year!!

But if it’s not it’s well over they won’t cover you you’ll have to pay out-of-pocket even though it’s a medical problem!

So I need to get my prostate exam coming up cuz it’s a year and he’ll usually do a blood test so by taking the lower doses that I’ve been taking for a good month and a half or so!

Hopefully it will be lower than 300 I! Hope you understand this and I apologize for the miscommunication the way I write stuff I do a voice text so maybe it scrambles the words! And thank you so much and if there’s any input on this please advise mr. Watts happy Sunday Rocky

Recheck the criteria.
If you were ALREADY approved by insurance company then they should continuing to pay as long as you keep your testosterone within normal limits. They do not expect you to remain below 300 if they approved trt already.

My insurance once they saw the 2 readings below 300 they approved. Now 1 x a year they need to know my testosterone is below 800 or so.

Mr. Watts thank you for the email back
the reason is I went through this once before what they do is when you get your blood checked and it is below 300 and below they submitted into the insurance company and like I said as long as it’s 300 and less and they will cover for 1 yr!

I think another time it was higher one year and they didn’t cover it I had to pay out of pocket I have United Health if im correct so that’s the way they do it!

So last year when like I said the doctor took me off cuz you wanted me to see an endo then going for a prostate exam 5 months later they pulled the blood testosterone free and total and he saw how low was again so they put it into the insurance it was below 300 they approved it for 1 year so that’s how it works so I’m hoping being on the lower dose cuz my testosterone was always low for a while it’ll be 300 unless that’s what I was trying to explain!

Maybe im missing something Mr watts but that’s what they told me that at the urologist office the nurse said to me! So that’s how they do it!! I’m not sure of any other way so unless there’s something I’m missing please advise thank you my friend

But if they “fix” you then you are fixed and won’t test below 300. I think you need to reach out to your insurance company Rocky. This doesn’t make sense.

If what you say is true, someone in your doctor’s office is mistaken.

Once you are approved for TRT, the diagnosis is for life and ends up in your medical record.

Thank you mr. Watts and system Lord I’ll have to call and ask them because I always wondered too because if you’re taking it on a daily basis and you up your dosage as time goes on to get to where you need to be you would think that they would still cover after a year!!

I’m going to have to call because the nurse or who ever does the paperwork and sends it to insurance! Thats what they said so somebody maybe screwing up here but guys thank you so much I appreciate it I mean I don’t know what else to do I’ll just reach out this week to them see what they say thank you

Good afternoon mr. Watts and also systemlord hope you guys are well I just got off the phone with my insurance company!!

You guys were right!! The first year that I was diagnosed with low testosterone if it’s 300 or less the insurance covers it and mine was in the mid 200s!!

So it is covered and it’s an ongoing thing for years now! So the girl over at my urologist office said was confused maybe so it’s covered they do it from year to year My insurance company said!!

And what it is is my doctor would just have to just send over a fax for pre-authorization again and explain that I need it and I do need this medication just like they’ve been doing!

I think the girl in the front of the lady that work there got a little confused and told me that and it confused me so hopefully I’ll be going to see them around the 20th or so!! Sorry for the confusion thank you guys for your help any other info or input please throw out their blessings to you Rocky

In my experience female nurses say the strangest things and always seem confused with how everything works, if it doesn’t have a ring of truth to it, I ignore it and contact my insurance company.

Some insurance companies renew contracts with healthcare providers on a monthly basis, which doesn’t have anything to do with the diagnosis.

Good afternoon mr. Watts I hope you’re well my friend! I have a question you are system Lord knows this when you’re on the testosterone and when you go get your labs how many days do you wait to get your Labs like if I did my last injection on a Friday

Do I wait 7 days and on the 7th Day go for the labs Early in the Morning by 8 or 9 or the 8th day just want to make sure because I haven’t gone for my labs in like almost 4 months!

So I’ll be going next week and I did my last testosterone shot on Saturday! I like to do it at night for some reason i sleep real good! When I do it morning or that day a few hours later I get tired and I feel alittle
fatigued!! So night time injections for me is better!

So please any advice or help with that I appreciate it I hope all is well thank you Rocky

If you inject on Saturday then Saturday before the shot or Friday would probably make the most sense. People usually get the labs on their trough day (the lowest).

Cool thank you!! Gonna start Hcg next wk haven’t done it for awhile and add B12 to my injections so hopefully that Will help with stuff thanks hope your well and your Rocking
