Eating more what? (hopefully the answer is protein)

Forget counting calories. Learn to count macros. MUCH easier to track, and the ratios of the 3 are much more important to your physique than overall caloric intake. [/quote]

Mind elaborating on the macro ratio thing?

In general, I’ve just been focusing on getting enough protein, and getting enough calories overall. 200+ grams of protein and 3000+ calories. If I’m out eating somewhere, I’ll usually pick the higher fat option before the higher carb option, but that’s as far as I go.

How does manipulating the carb/fat ratio change things?

Hey, if that’s working out for you stick with it. It’s great to have a baseline intake of protein, but if your physique is not headed in the direction you’d like it (like getting too soft) you need to do some trial and error (dropping carbs a little, increasing fat a little…maybe vice versa) It varies with the individual. I am someone who gains weight just looking at a bag of Diritos so it’s a very delicate balance for me usually.

I might be wrong, Chris Colucci probably knows way more than myself but many proved that lots of proteins is a myth. Just my tiny little 2 cents. At 19 learning is normal no reason to feel bad. At 54 i still learn. All the best !

I’ll go ahead and keep trusting him, he’s lived it and proven that he understands the subject by experience, not just reading and talking B.S. Been a trainer for a long time… etc.

I don’t feel bad for learning at 19 at all. I hope to still learn at 54 as well. It seems like the more I learn the less I realize I actually know… crazy.
