Trioplex Nutritional Claims...

On the front page of the trioplex website, good ol’ Chef Jay has said that he has changed his labes and changed the composition of his bars.

They seem like a pretty good “I don’t have time to cook and don’t feel like mixing powder in a shaker” type bar.

While not a bar for fat loss they do seem like a pretty decent snack.

Are they?

Are the label claims now legit?

jaimeo, Biotest no longer carries nutrition bars, if they did, we’d probably all buy from them if/when we needed bars. However, since they no longer carry this type of product I think it’s perfectly OK for us to have a discussion on what brand of nutrition bar is optimal.
ironbear, I checked our the stats on his bars and they don’t look to good to me. 16 or so grams of fat, 16 or so grams of sugar with 40odd grams of total carbs doesn’t sound like a good meal to me. I too am searching for a quality bar. The naysayers will point out that ALL bars are just glorified candy bars. I understand that, but during the winter months I am in a position were I have to be able to actually store a meal in my pants pocket and eat it hours later, now what the hell else will acomplish that besides a glorified candy bar? huh?

Yeah I know…just trying to be a smartass.

So what happened with the rebirth of Grow! bars questioned not so long ago. It seems as though they drove enough interest, but perhaps I missed the final decision.
