Tribulus Side Effects? I Have Noticed

Damn!! Urine trouble!

Looked it up – seems to be good for the adrenals, too, which is a plus. Thanks for that!

There’s really no reason healthy women shouldn’t take it, especially ones that’re training. Its not going to cause virilization, nor does it directly stimulate test. Rather it’ll help stimulate the release of LH instead, which then can cause an increase in test. Aromatise will take over from there. My wife’s used it with great results and within a couple weeks started showing some pleasing results with her deadlift in particular. As long as you’re not going overboard with the dosage (250-500mg/day for women) you should be just fine.

If ‘aromatise takes over from there’, does it then convert to oestrogen? (Sorry; this is probably a stupid question . . .)

Tribulus works on critters that have testes. Even “powerful women” lack that particular component(s).[/quote]

Well I’ve been taking 1000mg /day (worked up to it, just in case I DID show signs of growing a dick) and if the results are a placebo, I’ll go with that. Numbers have increased and I’ve dropped BF while increasing my weight back up to 132 from a low of 125 this summer. Like Ouro, skin and hair have become noticeably brighter, enough for people at work to comment on.
So it’s working for me, but the increased libido sucks for a single girl :frowning:

Holy crap Batman!

Alright- you’ve got my attention now… stronger and a sex drive?

But ,I am a little disappointed in the not growing a dick thing :=0

Seriously , I am wondering what effect it might have on females with decreased estrogen (perimenopausal) otherwise it looks like a win to me.

Well, I already HAD a sex drive, it’s just more annoying now.
But it is only an herb, so who knows? I do know that my diet has not changed (still 50% crap) but I’m hitting consistent numbers is the squat and my raw DL has soared in the past few months. On the other hand I train hard, so maybe it’s just the work paying off. I would imagine that the best results, like any supplement, go hand in hand with the lifting you put in.
