Sandusky found Guilty.
Waste of a trial, they should have just let that one guy from Texas take care of him.
Well that would have happened if the guy from Texas found Sandusky in the shower with the kid, sadly some guy with no balls found him instead.
Texas is a fine state… Big hair, big steaks, guns, and a low tolerance for assholes.

I would think that the only thing worse than being an incarcerated pedophile is being a ‘famous’ incarcerated pedophile.
I have two good friends who did serious time, and my pop taught in the Huntsville prison system, and apparently the two people who get it the worst are kiddy rapists and women beaters. I’d be floored if Sandusky’s alive in four months.
I highly doubt he’s going into the main stream prison population.

Think they said he’s secluded and on suicide watch. Wouldn’t be surprised though if he was “accidentally” left alone with certain members of general pop.

If anyone had a sense of humor they’d “accidently” send him to juvie.
Shoot the fucker. No sense being uncouth about the method of killing him, but he really does need to not be on the planet anymore. Just cap him in the back of the head, no fuss, a little mess and it’s over and we have one less sick fuck drawing air.

What’s waiting for him once he’s locked up is MUCH worse and way more appropriate. A shot to the head is too humane for this sicko.
Where is good ol’ BodyGuard when you need him…it would appear that Paterno blocked an attempt by Penn State officials to contact child welfare services to turn in Sandusky.

The good old boy network at it’s finest.
This thread hasn’t gotten much discussion lately, maybe the overall shock from last fall has worn off. But this new evidence is damning to the entire PSU administration and Paterno’s legacy.
BodyGuard wasn’t the only guy defending Paterno in the other thread. There were a couple other guys who were also trying to maintain the old man’s non-involvement and deniability. I wonder what those guys would say now?
It’s never easy to lose a hero. I’ve read posts in other forums as recent as a few weeks ago (before the verdict) where there continued to be genuflecting to both Paterno and Sandusky. The only explanation is DENIAL.
I am probably going to be flamed for this, but, being a Penn Stater - I really hope everyone focuses their hatred on the few who knew and did nothing, and not the University as a whole.
Really I’m just sad that being a Penn Stater meant less to those individuals than it does to me. Shame on them and all the damage they’ve caused to those poor victims.

I wouldn’t say he blocked it, they still could’ve done it, they didn’t exactly need his permission to take it to the authorities.
I would say however that he knew about it and actively tried to keep the Dept of Public Welfare from being involved, which is equally heinous.
For my own curiosity, I would love to know what happened in that convo that convinced Curley not to go to the DPW. However, that is strictly an exercise in satisfying curiosity, it would not make anyone involved look any better and likely would only make them look worse.

Oh there was a whole herd of Paterno apologists running all over the WTF Penn State thread…BG was the head of the dick but there was a whole lotta shaft behind him.
So, MOST of us KNEW this was going to happen. THe unanswered question here is what is the NCAA gonna do? Death penalty X 1, 5, 10 years?
Apologists will chime…‘the NCAA don’t have jur-ass-dick-ion over a criminal matter.’
Or, ‘but the football team didn’t benefit like giving players cash’.
I say bullshit. It was ALL about the football image and the PSU footabll team benefited for eleven years of the cover-up!
Maybe the Board will disassemble the program themselves at their press conference today.
