Hey guys, could use a little advice. I have a ventrogluteal injection site that has swelled up on me. I shot 1cc of Test E back on Monday and the site took some contact last night and is a little swollen as a result. I know it’s not an abcess as it’s not hot and not red, it’s just a little inflammed.
What do you guys use on something like this? I initially thought I should ice it to reduce swelling, but then thought it might have to do with the oil residing in the muscle and heat might perform better as it would break up the oil a little bit. Thoughts?
just use advil/ ibuprophen. The inflamation could have been caused by injecting to close to the lympatic system.

Take the above meds with food.
Dude I used the Bengay patches that worked great 4 me…
P,
Is there any area to avoid when injecting the Ventro site?
Sometimes my buddy moves the pin back toward the glute a couple inches, figuring the area between the ventro area and the glute quadrant is all fair game.
Try and stay within the triangle. If you do go further back you could risk hitting the sciatic nerve - especially with a longer needle.
