Swollen glute

Hi guys!
I’m 2 weeks in cycle with sustanon 250. First shot was to my right quad. I had a pain for 3-4 days, nothing bad. On my 5th day I had a shot also to right quad… the pain was not that bad, but it got swollen, like almost double size, without any redness or warmth. Just little bit itching. It was swollen maybe 7-8 days. After that it got to normal. During that time I had 3rd shot on 10th day from the beginning. I chose left leg, and everything was okay, no swelling, pain lasted only for 2-3 days and it wasn’t that strong. On the 15th day I chose my right glute, because I heard from everyone, that it’s a lot better pinning glutes than quads. So I had a shot to my right glute. Almost no pain after injection. Now it’s 3rd day after the shot and it’s swollen, too much swollen. I’m not having any pain, redness, It’s not warm. Something like with the 2nd shot to my right quad. I’m sure that It’s not an infection. So I would like to know your opinion, what it can be, or how can I avoid it getting swollen. I don’t really want to have swollen site every 2nd shot.

Sounds like irritation from getting gear into fatty tissue or you have an allergy to the oil.

The gear could also have too high BA content.

I used sustanon for a few years on TRT (pharmacy dispensed so no worries about the usual ugl issue) and it nearly always caused me issues, hard lumps that lasted for a long time, quads swelling etc, switched to Test E and no worries.

Do you think splitting dose from 1ml to 0,5ml more often will solve the irritation?

Splitting the dose or mixing it with another compound is what I would try and see how it goes.

Yeah, I heard from my friends, that test-E is a almost without pip, but I still chose sust… i will see, I’ll try to split the dose and see how it’s gonna be. Because I don’t really want to throw it away…

UPDATE: now I am 4 days after glute shot, the glute is swollen more, warm and red, also little hard to the touch. (I know it looks like infection, but I don’t think so it can be infected. Of course if it will be worse in 2 days, I visit doctor.) I think the problem can be, that I used a lot of alcohol wipes before injection, and after injection I did put alcohol wipe on injection site and did a pressure for a few minutes. So maybe that can be causing me issues like this, next time I’ll use some other desinfection… and what can help me bring swelling and redness down? Cold compresses and ibuprofen? Or is there any other medication? Thank you in advance for help.

Could still be irritation, but if you get fever or start feeling bad or seeing streaking around the injection site - to the hospital immediately.

I would recommend seeing a doctor regardless at this point.

Just my 2 cents.

You didn’t describe the way you inject. In case you are doing it wrong, to put it short, save your self the trouble: go ventroglute, warm um your test under hot water!!!, aspirate before injecting, inject for one minute, try not to move the needle, go out, take a new swab, massage gently for 20 seconds. Never had PIP or lumps VG, ever.

No fever, no feeling bad. Redness was there only at night, now it’s better.

I have 10ml bottle. So I’m using 2 needles. 06mm wide 30mm long all the way in. Always to the right spots. The only thing I don’t do is, that I don’t heat the oil. It’s in room temp. around 20•C.
