Sorry to hear about the poor experience using the narrow squats. From my perspective, I think everyone has a comfort zone and it’s hard to break. If what you’re doing works for you, then rock it. Everyone is built different, so we squat different. Your legs are looking really good though, Up. Nice work!
Your food pics always kill me, even when I’m not hungry, they make me hungry

I was thinking it would mimic the hack, I guess Ill stick to the narrow leg press for that, no knee issues there. Im not a wide squatter, but i guess purposely trying to go narrow, high rep didnt work. As far as my legs…, Ill keep on working, thanks!
GV I think I am picking up on your comment…Your not hurting my feelings if what you are implying is the 20s at the higher weight will give me more than the bazillion bar reps? I set out on this leg rep thing wanting to get to 8 min, but (yes that dreaded here it comes word) I have to wonder if just increasing weight hitting 20reps, with a more moderate weight, would be better for me . This(bar only if Im taking the % of my max) feels more body pump-ish and although great definition may come, I doubt much growth !?. Not that i wont see any. I guess that is why i started adding in more leg work. Im not regretting the mega high reps, because 20s feel like nothing now!
mmm blue cheese burger, was it a blue cheese Burger?

Then Im getting myself worked up getting ready to go for the 50 on the row, and another dude interrupts me to tell me some news flash on a killing in Washington ? Now, I am not insensitive, but clearly I am doing my thing, I had my ear buds in, music blaring…, Couldnt it wait till I was done with my set? //rant

Hey …, you snuck in. Yea food pics, I ate the chocolate chip cookies my daughter made too fast to post, otherwise I would have had
some yummies in there.
I know its not 2 weeks, but what I love about the pics, is
good lighting , lightings good
I havent even trained legs yet.
Its not even i woke up looking/feeling lean, hence the tummy.
This will give me so much motivation for hitting legs hard today! Cant wait. I know I have a long way to go, meaning if I was really lean, the size would come down, a lot, but I will keep working !
4:40 squats. some high some parallel and some deep. Hips arent a fan of continuously squatting Hmm just realized i never even thought of my breathing/out of breath thing.
95/2x10
120/2 just seeing how heavier feels, and I doubt i would get many more reps here, quads are fatigued after the rep session, even with no weight on bar, so sticking with lower till i can rep higher at this weight.
100/1x10
ext curls leg press, mod weight today lots of reps. Ill hit a heavier day next time.
I just think Im not trusting myself on squats. Ive done more weight, nit sure what the issue is. Well I think I know. I know the safety bars are there, and they work, but I tend to struggle with the weight/strain before I let it go. If i trusted Id give up Id probably feel better. Dont have this issue when I FS, so need to work on that.
I do think I am noticing a change with the high rep work.
Heres an after pump shot, change is coming! Stay tuned , haha.
I’m not sure I entirely follow your closing thoughts. When say you don’t trust yourself, are you meaning that if you reach failure, you don’t trust that you’d drop the weight?

Definitely appears to have been a good pump!

Pump is gone now
Correct. Id like to squat heavier and do more reps, but I tend to fight past the point of borderline injuring myself. I guess why Ive been slowly, building back up the weight. I know id see better results if I could go heavier, and rep it x20. Not of coarse after my timed squats Ive been doing, but when this is over…
On another note, I swear my legs dont look as good as that. I feel like tomorrow they will shrink. Maybe because i am finally seeing progress again. I have never had them looking even this good. Not sure the thought process is normal, or if I am even explaining it correctly.
I am not believing what I am seeing is the bottom line.
LOL on quadzilla… I could only hope! Not that Im giving up or anything
