Traveling and Training

hi all

I had a quick search but couldnt find much so sorry if its already been asked.

Basically i have been training for 2 years now and other than rest weeks here and there I havent missed many workouts. Its taken me this long to go from 63kg to 74kg (i was really skinny lol). Anyway not sharing my life story but im going on a 9 week backpacking holiday to europe where there is going to be a lot of drinking, some crappy food, no protien shakes and more drinking

What can i do to help prevent losing all my gains? will i be back to square 1 when i get back?

im thinking ill obviously eat the best food i can find, drink lots of water etc and for training maybe pushups/pull ups and site ups?

any help would be great!

You pretty much got it down already. I don’t know what would be available for you to use workout-wise, but probably nothing as you guessed.

All I could advise is to eat as close to possible as you do now and do all the bodyweight stuff you can.

9 weeks with no real training is definitely cause some setbacks…

Do some exercises while your backpacking.

Lunges
Squats
Pushups
Pullups (find a branch or something)
Curl some rocks/wood/etc

Backpacking alot you should get some good wokrouts but you’ll probably lose size because of the length of time. Beer = calories but watch out how much you drink. Also take care of your feet… if they go bad your going to be hurting.

great thanks…so its going to set me back but i shouldnt lose all my gains yeah?
