Just to broaden the discussion a bit. My all taime favorite dream, and I have had it 3 times that I can remember, is one where I fly without any machine or apparatus. It’s always the same to, I am running, usually down a long slope. I jump and when I land, I jump again, only this time a little higher and farther. Then I land and jump again, this time going higher and farther, gliding more too, the descent isn’t like a fall, more like in mario where you glide down to the earth when you have the tinooki tail or whatever that think is. Anyways, Eventually I could re-jump without hitting the ground and the feeling was amazing. I was just jumping in the air and floating around, I could also get going pretty fast and slow down if I wanted to.
Anyone else have some flying dreams?

I’ve never had a flying dream that I can remember and I’m kinda jealous of those who have. The most I get is a crouching tiger, hidden dragon type movement where I can run on walls and leap onto rooftops, glide up and down stairs, and move extraordinarily fast. I actually have been trying to induce lucid dreams so I can try flying, but no success yet. Any tips? [/quote]
Absolutely. Sleep journal is #1 because what good is having lucid dreams is your brain doesn’t record the experiences right? I mean you all realize we really experience our dreams right? Just because they don’t get recorded as hard and fast as our 3d experiences does not make them not real. For example. How tangible is the 33rd time you drove your car? Do you even remember that particular drive? How about the 52nd? Remember that one? Do you doubt that existed? of course not, but you have no reccolection of it at all, the experience might as well have not existed. Now if on your 58th time driving your car you hit a deer, well you will always remember that one because it is a special occurance.
Anyways, once you get a good dream journal going, you can get it down pretty good in a couple weeks, your brain really learns what you want it to do fast. Then all you need to do is have an awake trigger. Something you routinely will look at so that when you look at it in your dream, you “gain consiousness”. The easiest is for people who wear watches. People who wear a watch may look at it to see the time 10-15 times a day or more. So for a watch wearer, every time they look at thier watch, instead of just seeing the time, proclaim something to yourself at the same time. Such as “I am aware and awake, is this a dream or is it real? I am aware and awake”. So just say that in your own head every time you look at your watch and when your dream body looks at it’s watch, your brain is going to repeat the phrase to itself out of habit and you will MOST of the time gain lucidity in your dream state. If you don’t have a watch, you need to create a habit. Have a wedding ring that you play with (I do) every time you start adjusting it or playing with it, do the same proclimation to yourself.
So thats pretty much it. Once you are in the dream state and you are concious, remember the rules are slightly different. Negative energy given off by you is going to attract negative entities. So if you see something which would normally scare you or make you mad, you have to try to realize that this is a dream and this is just an entity who is trying to get a reaction out of you. Weather to feed off you or just for thier own amusement. They can’t kill you and have no real power over you unless you allow them to. Just acknowledge that you know it’s an entity trying to bait you, thank them and move on. The negative scenario will literally just dissapear or melt away or you will speed away from it.

Thanks, that’s some good information. I read up a little on the dream journals, and I was wondering if you try to wake up after every dream and write it down, or if you just try to program your brain to remember everything and write it down in the morning?
