Trainwreck Training Program

I’m 58yrs old. 6’1” 210lbs 10%BF. Severe OA throughout. Total Hip replacement. Cervical spine 4 discs severe damage spinal cord and nerve root compromise. Lumbar spine 3 discs severe damage spinal cord and nerve root compromise. Left AC joint separation severe OA. Conditions resulted in partial paralysis right arm twice, left arm once and right leg once.

training program over two years resulted in return to full functional capacity. Bench Press, Deadlift and Squats all above 400lbs for reps.

Program:

M: Upper Body
• T: Lower Body/Core/Cardio
• W: Back/Biceps/Med-Post Delts
• TH: Chest/Triceps/Forearms
• F: Lower Body/Core/Cardio
• S: Back/Biceps/Med-Post Delts
• SU: Lower Body/Core/Cardio

M: 1-2 compound exercises 1 Isolation exercise ea muscle group

T/F/Su: one day prioritize Posterior Chain, one day prioritize Ant Thighs, one day prioritize calves.

Supersets, Drop sets, and Minimal rest periods (<60 seconds) used throughout.

Resistance Bands and Isometric (MDY) techniques were used throughout. BFR Bands also used for both upper and lower extremities.

Dietary Program high protein, whole foods. Supplements included Creatine/HMB, pre-workout drink, recovery drink, GI/Liver support. BP157/TB500 combo peptide and 2 SARMS.

Protein 200gm-250gm daily.

Did you find that increased core work/strength provide any back relief? I’ve been dealing with a lower back injury the Navy refuses to MRI and I’ve just been doing PT for like 6 months.
