Training to Music?

I just read through what I’ve got to learn the next few years in excercise and health A&B over here. Here’s some of the gold I found.

Goals to be reached in excercise and health A
The student should: Have developed his ability to train to music.

For the B course
The student should: have further developed his knowledge in training to music in different ways.

And to get the highest grade you need to: Have a good musical understanding for training to music concerning rhytm, pulse and style of music.

Also, to pass you need to: Be able to see the connection between nutrition, weight and health.
Wait, so that fat chick walking down the street isn’t an inner goddess trapped by a poor metabolism? She’s just a regular person with a lack of self control eating alot? I could’ve never guessed that.

I’d be fine with dancing, but it’s listed separatly so this is guaranteed to be some dumb irrelevant bullshit. I mean, why’d we have to learn to work out to music instead of just going in there, focusing on what to do and then getting out? And why would you have to have a good feeling for rhytm and knowledge of styles of music to be able to train? It makes no fucking sense whatsoever.

Are you sure it’s an exercise and health course and not salsa cardio dance class at the Y?
