Yes to both.
If I train at the same time of the day every day, my strength increases a lot faster, opposed to when I train at different times every day.
I can just get into the groove easier because my mind and body get used to it, I can get the most use out of them.

My experience and observations on many individuals that i have trained will lead me 2 suggest u: 1: train on SET schedule (for example 3:00pm; mon-tues-thur-fri)(youll become an animal @ 3:00pm)
2: go when its convenient 2 ur work and school schedule( pretty important)
3: go when its not 2 crowded (unless u wanna c alot of fitness bunnies, then go when its crowded)jokin!
You had me for the most part, but then you lost me when you started typing in text lingo… WTF man?
Anyway, I typically train at ~6-7am. Mondays I have been going in the afternoon, but this throws my Tuesday deadlifts off, so I am going to need to change it. I have trouble arriving to the gym still groggy. I am going to get something with caffeine to take beforehand.
Coffee, redbulls, other suggestions?
Have an ice cold shower when you wake up…ha! thats what i do…[/quote]
What text lingo?
I’m not a BBer, but I have tried early, mid, evening and late evening.
evening is the best for me. Right after work, it relieves my tension, I am awake, I am focussed, I am looking forward to my workout. When I get home I eat and relax.
I tried early about 4:45am to 5:00am, and it took my a while to get up to speed and I found myself slowing up to think about what was coming up for the day.
Late evening and I was tired and distracted and hurried through so I could get home and get to bed.
I like training around 10:00 AM because the gym is less crowded. I don’t have to wait for anything. There are a max of 4 people in the whole place. About half the time I’m alone.
Between 6:59 PM and 7:45 Pm. Any other time just isn’t optimal (sarcasm)
Really though, i prefer midday to early afternoon, (12-3). This allows me to get a few meals in both before and after working out. BUT, this doesn’t usually fit my schedule, so evenings it is.

Haha. Your second paragraph had some “u” and “c” things going on, plus the way it was formatted on my screen made me feel dyslexic. Your good man…
In regards to the early morning, for some reason it never occured to me to invest in some caffeine pills. I picked some up yesterday for my training today, and I was definitely more awake and ready to lift. Although, now I am sort of tired…

Agreed.
I trained a half year on morning, it´s sucks! I really like training on night!!!
I personally like the times when the gym is not crowded, but I take a really long time to wake up so morning is out of the question for me. I train 2-3 pm when schedule permits, but usually 10-10:30 is when I show up.
anytime after 30 minutes I eat something.
whenever i feel like it which is generally in the morning if i dont have school or work that prevents it.
i like to just get it done. so when i have the time i usually wake up, have a shake sit on my ass for an hour or two, maybe have something light before i go or grab an RTD at the gym.
would it be better to train later in the day after ive eaten more? it might. but i just like to go out and do it. plus it sort of relaxes you into the rest of the day and you dont have it on the mind anymore. because at least for me when im out im always paranoid about the next meal or making it back to the gym. so to have some of that clutter of the mind removed is nice in its own way.
I prefer going in the morning.
But I have better workouts in the evening.
Hmm.
night, because by that time ive already eaten like 7 times
I train in the morning now (get up @5 and lift @6) in my house. I never thought I could do it but got used to it. I would rather do it in the afternoon or evening but I have other obligations. The biggest advantage of training in the morning is that most days the hardest part of the day is done before I leave the house. The biggest disadvantage is that I don’t feel as strong when I first get started as I would later in the day.
Morning and afternoon for me 2x a day got to love working at a gym and living near a park.

oh ok, i didnt even notice.
for a while (about 6 months) i was forced 2 do 5:30 am and felt really shitty and miserable. i decided 2 get on some caffine myself. felt gr8. my coordination and arrousal was spot on. well after i adapted the caffine, i felt the evil central fatigue and my coordination and arrousal went to hell.started addin lots of berries 2 the post work out shake and gettin 10 minutes of hot tub time after the workout. after that 2nd week i was fully adaptded to mornin trainin and was a mornin beast. (damn i hate mornings, glad i got back to my 10:00am’s
For me i like to train in the mornings , i like to get the workout out of the day, as i am always thinking about , plus there is not to many ppl there. haveing a gym that is fully packed is hard to train and stay focused
I go in the mornings, usually I wake up between 5-6 and get there around 7 or so. no-xplode type stuff helps me get going, I’m worthless in the gym without it. It also gets me going awake and ready for the rest of the day by 9-10am. If I don’t go in the mornings I won’t wake up till noon, and then I’ll sloth around the house all night and talk myself out of going.
And the only time anyone is every at the gym at that time is 4-5 regular cardio people, and the zumba class, gets crowed towards the end of the workout though…
ZUMBA!
