Training Equipment Shopping List

Inorder for me to follow certin routines exaclty they way they are suppost be I need to buy a few more things.

Right now I have a adj. bench, power rack, ab board, roman chair, couple bars/ adj. DB’s, power tower(thinks its called that)

Here is my list from Fitnessfactory.com
1.12 lb. medicine ball- 50$
2.bodysolid pro lat machine- 300$
3.Dipping Belt- 20$

total w/o shipping is 367.99

Is this a decent price?

I will need more olympic plates and anoter bar would be nice too, but I can find those used around here.

Am I missing anything?

skip that lat machine and do chins from your rack/tower. buy some kettlebels instead

True- the most expensive item you listed is probably going to be the most worthless. That $ will be better spent on the essentials.

I can’t really tell you what the “essentials” will be because I don’t have my own set-up, but I would still say that any machine is $ wasted.

The only reason I wanted the lat is I want to follow Waterburys routines exaclty they way they are written.

Would it be better to do chins/pull ups instead?

If you need to do more reps of chins than you currently can for a program, you can always buy an iron woody band to use for assistance. Save your money for more important stuff.

Like this:

Also, I like to periodically scan thru craigslist and ebay for bargains. I found a t-bar row and seated calf raise for $25 (for both) on ebay. Do I need them? Not really, but for that price why not and they’ve been a nice addition to my home gym.

Glute Ham Raise Bench

ok here is my new list:
-dip belt
-bands
-2nd 300lb Oly. set
-more rubber mats
-12 lb medicine ball

There is always used fitness equipment in “the paper shop” magaine around here.

You ave to get right on it thou or you miss out. I missed out on an olympic bench-power rack-600lbs of weights, acouple bars, and a few more things SOLD for under 200 dollars I couldnt belive it.

Where did you buy the ironwoody bands? From the website?
