Program is loosely based off of a Russian Periodization Peaking routine so we shall see.

So this is my 5 year anniversary of my Pacemaker install. Twiceborn I am.

Trapbar Deadlifts will take up the place of Squats and Deadlifts in my routine.

Mobility/stretching work 15 min.

Paintball snap practice with a sheet of plywood in front of a mirror: working on snapshots kneeling/sqauting/prone/off-hand with full gear on. That was a great little workout in 30 minutes-- talk about sweat and loosening up the hips.

Played with kids, now my son broke his arm on the swings on Sunday and just got the cast yesterday. Guess what? yep went right back to the swings today…Try telling a 3yr old that he can’t jump off the swings or earlier can;t just get in the shower with you with the cast on.

smith machine btn press( slow and low) 135x10x5 easy just going for stretch and pump here.

cable curls 100x15x3

fun day looking forward to tomorrow and see how my hips are doing.

I have come to the realization I can’t build strength on both bench and ohp at same time with any consistancy. (sorry wendler) Unless i am doing a DC program when they are both low volume on the same day.

So on my program my Ohp’s are done on the second day and used as an assistance exercise. Just feels right to me and my body.

Mobility over weekend 2 times a day. Lower back is starting to feel better now. When I get up from sitting my lower back does not feel locked up or my hips are not so sore all the time.

foam rolling is twice a day as well for 10 minutes.

Keep that mobility work up FISCH, good to see the back is progressing.

Good to read your back and hips aren’t aching as much. A bottle of wine and 3-4 beers Fri night and Sat night helped my low back pain over the weekend. Made my head ache though.
