Congratulations. It’s hard for some people to understand how hard it is to claw your way back to a PR after a serious injury and/or chronic pain. I’m thrilled for you.[/quote]

Thank you. Well we have to kep moving forward right. I look forward to your upcoming endeavors as well so I can cheer you on!

Shooting for 215. Will take stock then and adjust accordingly.

Reverse grip bench in smith 275x10+5+5

samson pulldowns 130x14+9+7

Viking press 55x8+5+3

t-bar row 5 plates x3 widowmaker 2 platesx19

rolling tricep extensions 50x14+8+7

bweight fully clothed 232

Slighly sobering news to say the least.

Last week when talking to a new Cardiac-Device-Installer he mentioned to me that since my 2 YES 2 Heart Attacks I’ve had which apparently ()I somehow skipped over in my many conversations with my main cardiologist he said my Heart no longer has any dead spots. WTF ! So I guess that’s good news Right?

This is another reason why I am dropping my weight down.

I’m no Dr., nor have I ever stayed in a Holiday Inn Express…but no dead spots sounds like a good thing. Wise man to drop the weight down a bit, keep after it Fisch.
Never done much reverse grip benching…what has it done for you?

Great job today! (Even trainers need encouragement! )

That sounds like great news. That means the cardiac muscle is working throughout the whole of the heart, doesn’t it? In a heart attack, the ischemia causes the muscle to die from lack of oxygen, creating the dead spots, but you have none now. Frankly, that’s amazing.

On the reverse grip helps getting in another push with no aggravation of the shoulders and it really hits the TRI’s hence my weak-sauce Viking press that follows it.

On DC its balls out every workout so you don’t have a so-so exercise in your rotation-make sense?

Thats my theory of why I have been doing the morning energy work for so long in the mornings = I routinely hit max heart rate (180bpm) multipule times during the 30-45 min session.

That and a ton of greens everyday.

Speaking of greens,…Had my first experience with “greens” The shade of green in my glass kind of scared me, but it tasted pretty good!

Ready to hit the gym again tomorrow!

Switched up routine due to a bunch of reasons.

upper body day

Standing overhead press BTN set maxes real low 100x3,115x3 and 130x5
Did (6) pullups between all pressing sets
seated dbell presees 50x15x3
Facepulls 37.5x20x4
dips bweightx10x4
spider curls 75x10x4

push sled with +65lbs added x6 times on the gym floor. Way harder than concrete.

Bweight fully clothed 232

Nice job on the upper work Fisch, and to finish it all off with sled pushing…that’ll get the ticker pumping.

Hey, Bogatir!

Just popping in to say hello and yup, ya finally got me on here. Thanks again for the brief lifting intro. last Saturday! You could have warned me that it was an “accumulation” day in kbell right afterwards, though I guess it wouldn’t have made any real difference.

Gotta say I was hurting by the time the half-moon slams hit. (Mini-me pushed against me in just the right spot the next day and well…it’s a good kind of sore that will make Tuesday’s class interesting.)

See ya for KB tomorrow (hmmm…it’s after midnight, so I guess I should say later today).
Jean

Hey, Hey!

Welcome aboard Mighty Mouse!!
