Training begets Serenity

That’s some pretty strong pressing. Good to see your back is making progress.

What’s a cross-country row?

Cross-country row:

Like a pullover done on a tricep pushdown cable machine.

Setup:: take a rope handle and step back 5-6 ft from pulley - bendo over resembling position of a cross-country skier. In a explosive movement bring the arms down with the hands going on the outside of the knees.Keep the back arched through the lift and flex hard. Wrestlers will call this move a “head-shruck” or when you go for a double on the head and pulldown.

done for high volume like 5x15 --gets all swolen and VERY SORE in the armpit area.

My favorite lat exercise starter/finisher. Helps alot with people with bad shoulders.

Does this make sense?

Crystal clear. Having the muscles show in the armpit area is awesome. Thanks Fish.

Testing lower back day.

Sqauting to the 12th pin

w/u’s then worked up to a 495x3 --no pain (belt on @ heaviest weight)

SWOLEZ FO SHO! Nice work dungeon master.

LOL

I fucking hate hospitals (no offense to our resident medical staff here) just being in one really depresses me.

I ended up in the Hospital due to getting Bronchitus(acute) from one of my kids. And to add insult to injury I have the pacemaker. Yep INFECTION! So after boatloads of Anti-biotics and IV I am now out.

Good thing is I hit those lifts last week while sick. LOL

So taking another easy week to heal up and then going to do the Juggernaught method starting this next monday.

While in the hospital the x-rays came back and said No more fractures apparent on L4/L5.

Will start doing deadlifts but at a way reduced poundage.

Your resilience and ability to be awesome in the face of multiple hurdles is Awesome.

Looking forward to your insight(s) on the Juggernaught method. Definitely a cool name.

Don’t worry…i hate them too right now !!

Damn man, I’m sorry to hear this, your perseverance is very impressive. Not many people would keep at it with the shit that keeps getting in your way.

Glad the infection is behind you.

Finally got around to watching the somersault squat video. Very, very interesting. Looks kind of technical to me.

This is a song from my Soul. I truly feel like this about training.

I hope you can enjoy the words of the song. This help explains why I help people as much as I can on these boards and in real life.

still alive lungs are still so-so. I started off with a plan to do sprints and sled runs back and forth due to cabin fever. Well that lasted 2 sprints and 1 sled run. My lungs are still full of mucus and I can’t get a full breath.

Plan B then. Watch football today and eat chili and play with the kids alot

Will start a modified program tomorrow. With very easy conditioning till my lungs get better.

Upper body day-bench focus

bench press 225x10 245x10 265x10
