That’s interesting. Is this good or bad for you?[/quote]
A good thing actually.
Deadlifts got 455x5 conventional.
Glute bridges/barbell thrusters 315x5x5
Good day.
Bweight 228 after 5 meals.
Great work on the deads. The gym I work at also has MMA and boxing, and it seems to bring in extra people–young, old, female, you name it.
Nice deadlifts. Are you finding dropping weight, easy?
It’s usually very hard to keep your strength up aswell, good job.
Man do I miss the prowler. I’ve enjoyed reading your log, have it bookmarked now

I am slowly dropping the weight in blocks like 3-4 pds for 1 month then stay there for a month a then drop again. Been going on now for 6 months and down a total of 16-18 pds-same strength.
Had fun pumping up today (deload week) and met a cool guy in the poster above me.
Excellent work over here Mr. Fischer, especially if you’re dropping weight!!!

x2
Volume kills me when I’m dropping weight.
Sqaut day. KInda deload.
Pin presses with bands 300x3 for 8 sets.
! 1 legged pistols – holy crap I fucking hate these things!!!
hanging leg raises 3x20
bench ups 3x10 using 135lbs. These are performed on a flat bench with the bar in a semi-close grip position and you sit up while keeping the bar close to your chest (2-4 inches away).
Ordered more bands from Elite yesterday. The pro short light and average bands.
and the stretchy rope thingy-majiggy.
bweight weighed in the morning @ 225
Great training Rick. You obviously have your training dialed in correctly. Any aches or pains go away after losing 20 lbs?

Feel alot better. My conditioning is good for anything that comes up that I want to do without feeling my “age” if that makes sense. ie: I play paintball at a very high level(against 18-24 yr olds) and after playing for 4-6 hrs I am not the one saying I am tired or wants to quick.
And my conditioning allows me to add in a day more of lifts and more volume also while still recovering fairly ok.
I am really thinking about trying to drive my numbers up now at my bweight.
So long answer is yes alot less achey.
During bootcamp class lastnight we started to push the sled with alot of weight and it turned into a competition of sorts.
Got real heavy. then a girl jumped on on top of the weights as I was pushing the sled, talk about work output going up and production (moving forward) going down – Holy Shit!! weight on the sled was 210lb plus 45lb sled +10lb slider base + 125lb girl. This was brutal for the distance.
Millies later today.
Edit: on a gym floor with no traction.
That sounds brutal. How are you guys not ripping the crap out of the gym floor? I am picturing a basketball court–or do you have room in the weight room to push the sled? If so, what kind of floor are you pushing on? How does it compare to asphalt or concerete?
I built a wood sled underbody with carpet wrapped around the flat base and screwed in through the top. sled sits on top with a 2x4 as a “wall” to push agaisnt and cradle the front of the sled.
Harder than asphalt-same as grass. You really get no speed see if I am sprinting with the sled on asphalt and let go it will slide maybe an additional 20 feet on the gym floor maybe 5 feet. <— If I am lucky !!
Done on a basketball court.
OK, that is brutal. Great work.

Ive never tried losing weight like this before. I should give this a try. As long as the strength stays, I could use a few pounds dropped. My pregnancy level must be close to 5 months right now , haha.

Now that! is motivating.
Women have no idea how much power they possess in motivating men to perform at a higher level. Assuming they present themselves well.
There’s a new idea for your bootcamp class!
Had a great 4th of july.
Bench press focus day
w/u then 275x12 , 225x29.
pendlay rows 195x5x5
db incline press 70x15 3 sts
spider curls 85x12 4 sets.

Nice benching. 225x29 is very impressive.
