Training 6-7 Days/Wk?

All I’m saying is that I’m married with 3 kids. Kids range from infant to 10yo. I work on average 60-80 hours a week (not including flight time). I travel for work, on average 2 weeks per month (sometimes many weeks in a row). I maintain a yard and do shit around the house. I spend time with my kids doing homework and play and I take them to their activities. Unless I’m in another state working, I see their major activities (recitals, awards, etc.). I manage to find time to practice an instrument + other hobbies (like fishing regularly). I regularly take courses for professional development (after work hours). I cook dinner and get laid.

Oh… AND I’M AT THE GYM 5-7 DAYS A WEEK

Only “have time” for 3 days a week at the gym? Puuh-leeeez!

I train every day, but not with weights. Prefer 3 days a week in the gym(FB) and 4 days a week of cardio. I did a 5 day bb split for ages, but fullbody training and more cardio has actually been more beneficial to body comp for me.[/quote]

Definitely an impressive physique. : )

I’m doing a 6 day split now and yes - it definitely has resulted in some significant muscle gain over the past 4 months.

Back
Chest
Quads/calves
Arms
Hams/glutes/traps
Shoulders/abs

Been doing it since March along with 30 mins fasted morning cardio 3 - 4 x per week and gained about 8 pounds while dropping an inch off my waist…

I think what Modok said about having to be spot on with the schedule or fall behind is definitely true. Plus, more work = more gains. : ) I’m certainly not saying it’s the only way, but I believe the more you’re under the bar (without overdoing it) the better off you are.

training shoulders and every muscle three times in a week could be taxing though. spliting it in 6x parts and training muscle group once a week some people will find more beneficial for regeneration. dependsss.

ok,

Yeah, yeah…but how much TV do you get to watch? I don’t see any reality TV in your schedule!

I catch all the River Monsters and Gene Simmons Family Jewels I need from Netflix
