I think it’s awkward because you obviously missed out on purpose what happened between you walking off and the next morning. Maybe you was so ‘buzzed’ you don’t remember. What you need to ask yourself is why he was in your mind the next morning and long enough for you to start a whole tread about him. Why has he been avioding you? Something else happened that night you don’t want to share?
