Total T in 400s on 200mg/Wk

I will repeat what I’ve said elsewhere: exercise is a terrible way to lose weight. On 1,800 calories and that much exercise you’re going to trash your body. You’ll wreck your metabolism and end up having to spend months reverse dieting. It’s not pretty.

Sounds good not sure where to start that new thread? You are correct when I lost the weight before I had to keep going down in calories and the. Installed out.

I haven’t been doing 1800 calories recently. It’s been higher but I haven’t been tracking. My lifting is only about 45 mins a day and 15 mins of cardio.

I will start a new thread though

More t raise my free?

Not sure what revere dieting is but I wrecked my metabolism in the past I am sure of it.

Reverse dieting is basically slowly increasing calories until you get back to a normal metabolism. It can take months. It’s a huge setback that you have to undergo when you’ve done too deep of a deficit for too long.

Agree with this. However I highly doubt he will have the willpower to reverse diet for months, even if that was the solution. It’s even harder than crash dieting in my option. It will most likely lead to binge eating and rebound weight gain.

As everyone said, it’s not a good spot to be in. So don’t crash diet to begin with.

This was me from before when I got down to 200. I feel like even though I was probably cutting too hard I kept some muscle? This was in my mid 30s and now I am close to my mid 40s.
I want to look like this again but a bit bigger and more cut lol.

I’d suggest either Over-35 Lifter where you’ll get more feedback from a more “mature” crowd who’ve put mileage on their bodies for a while or Bigger, Stronger, Leaner which is the general go-to training section.

No doubt you’ll get solid advice in either place. But, again, the more detail we have about what you’re doing and have done, the better we can adjust. As a headstart, one door-opening question I like asking is: “What, exactly, did you eat yesterday?” In your new thread, be sure to answer that.

After being on this board for a couple years, and learning from my doctor, it seems majority of men should hit around 20 for symptom resolution.

There are a few out there that tend to do better on a lower dose (supposably), but those men are rare.

The other way to look at TRT is dose until symptoms resolve. Use the lab values as a gauge to choose a dose. If 200mg gives me 15 free t, i might try 220 to see if i can get into the 20s. once there i will wait at least a couple months to see if my symptoms get better. If some days you feel better and others days you do not, you can look into frequency and sere if daily might work better than weekly and etc.

Just dont go chasing your tail until you have first fixed your Low t .

Up above my free says 123? Are you converting it somehow? I am confused on free t I guess.

lexapro, that could be very well your problem. survivingantidepressants - I’d start there.
once you are off, your body can start process of de-zombifying your brain and rest of your body might follow

Ok I will read up on it. However I do take a pretty small dose 5mg, I take it for anxiety. Tried getting off before and started having them again. But I will look into it.
