Kelly,
You said you liked Powerdrive as well as other supplements in that category. Anything in particular besides Powerdrive?
I ask because I’ve taken an interest in nootropics after adding Powerdrive as a staple of my supplementation. So far, I’ve thrown in vinpocetine at 30mg/day, and I have some Piracetam on the way.
JBraswell, look into a product called Ravive(www.ravive.com). Stack this w/ powerdrive, then thank me later.
Monty, I used to buy Super Nutrition’s OptiPaks until I realized they’re unnecessarily expensive. Now I just take Trader Joe’s multivitamin tablets, which cover all the bases and are easy on the wallet.
Jason I haven’t tried either of those or any other pharmaceuticals in that category but have experimented with a few of that natural variety. Right now I’m using l-carnosine which I’d never heard anything about until recently, seems to work quite nicely when used with power drive.
Supplement Results/Power Stack
Just wanted to post my results from different biotest stuff and other supplements.
First, I recieved the power stack…
Low carb Grow - I love this stuff
Powerdrive – A big fan of this too. I take 2 scoops pre workout. My goals are more athletic than asthetic and I think athletes will appreciate it more than bodybuilders.
M – Can’t really tell what this does. Maybe it boosts the effects of Tribex but I find Tribex alone or with M feels the same.
Tribex – I definitely notice a boost in libido at 4 caps 2x/day. I’ve used it for a long time and will continue to use it.
Classic Grow – tastes good. I use it mostly in the mornings only due to carb content
Grow bars – good in a pinch. Tasty but due to the limitations of bar nutrition I prefer food or the powdered Grows.
I also got my hot roxx yesterday. I was taking t2-pro and Md6 once in a while lately.
Usually 3 days every two weeks (the days before, during and after my cheat meals)
I liked this way of taking it as I’m too sensitve to ephedrine/caffiene in MD6 but I’m fine with t2-pro. I’ve stopped them both now and I’m giving the Roxx a try.
Anyway, I took one hot rock this morning and definitely noticed the heat. I’m going to ramp up over the next couple days as the label suggests. I’m at 11.5% now (tanita) and I’d love to be at 6% and strong. I’m hoping the roxx will help with that.
Other supplements I like
4 AD-EC – I like this, especially while dieting…. I feel it helps me keep muscle and libido up even with low cal/low carb.
Glutacene/Nitromine – I take these before/during/after my High Octane Cardio or 400m workouts with a small amount of gatorade and love it. For HIIT/Renegade workouts I find Surge or Relentless hard to take without puking. This is a nice alternative.
Surge – I use this during/after my lifting sessions with some ALA. Great supplement.
Udo’s Choice – gotta get my efa’s.
ZMA – helps sleep quality and morning wood is always great.
Mag-10 – good, but I did notice suppression. To be honest I like 4ad more cause I can use it longer. I think I’d just take the “real” thing instead of mag-10.
Methoxy 7 and Myostat – Can’t say I liked these very much but again my goals are athletic so weight gain is not a big deal to me
Creatine – I get good strength results from creatine.
Fiber – I actually get a fiber supplment auto shipped from the home shopping network. Sounds cheesy but I really love this one too.
Just to hop in on the Coral Calcium topic. I have read that it is suppose to be better absorbed (almost 100%) than the citrate and hydroyapatite because it is already in the elemental form and is ionized (+) making it more usable for the human body.
It also is able to help alkalize your body which Heart disease, diabetes, cancer and arthritis are linked to acidic body levels.
I’ve been taking it for 3 weeks now and the only real benefits that I’ve seen so far is that it has reduced some joint pain in my knee and has also reduced CHO cravings while on a keto diet.
“It also is able to help alkalize your body which Heart disease, diabetes, cancer and arthritis are linked to acidic body levels.”
This is simply not true. They repeat it over and over again without a shred of evidence.
