Christians choosing Jesus are stupid. Iâ??d go back in time to the beginning and meet the father.

Tesla would also be on my list. Anyone who doesnâ??t acknowledge him as the most awesome person ever, donâ??t know enough about him. Iâ??m convinced he was the smartest person to ever walk the earth in addition to being pretty bat-shit crazy. He did things with scrap parts that modern science has yet to reproduce.

I wouldn’t go as far to say they are stupid. Any logical person understands why they chose him.

I was intending that to be a little bit sarcastic. I don’t really think they’re stupid.

Lol totally forgot about that… man I need to watch that movie again.

  1. Jesus - even if I was not able to ask him anything, just to be able to walk along-side and listen.
  2. Benjamin Franklin - and maybe we could visit George Washington, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson during this little visit.
  3. Archimedes - Perhaps the orginal Renaissance Man? “Give me a place to stand on, and I will move the Earth.”
  4. Galileo - The Father of Modern Science
  5. Martin Luther King Jr. - dreams of equality

It is tougher to narrow it down to five than I thought.

suprised that so many of you want to meet historical figures. what are you going to get from meeting galileo? compliment him on his discoveries? what about passed relatives (grandparents, siblings, parents, uncles/aunts, distant ancestors, etc). am i missing something here?

Because nobody wants to read:
Mom
Dad
Uncle Lefty
Chris
Cousin Bob

There’s only 3 people in this world, past, present, or future who I’d want to meet.

  1. Jesus - To learn to love
  2. Chuck Norris - To learn to fight
  3. KerleyQ - To practice both

I am more confused by the people who list both Jesus and one or more of the founding fathers.

Gotcha. While I didn’t choose Jesus himself,I did choose those who had biggest influence on the actual religion of Christianity itself: St.Paul and Constantine.

No offense, but what do you care what I am going to get out of meeting a guy I picked? I admire the man, his discoveries, the way he was ahead of his time, shaped the modern world and stood up to a religious organization (that he loved by the way) that pretty much controlled the known world.
I am descendant of farmers and hillbillies. What am I going to get out of meeting distant family that I don’t even know of? Hey great-great grandfather that is a nice dirt floor shack and mule you got there -vs- what the five people I picked could tell me.

Besides getting to see people that I was emotionally attached to might be a little disturbing. 2 cents

What is confusing about wanting to meet Jesus and the founding fathers? They are probably the most influential people to my way of life that I don’t acutally know. Other than I might not be intellegent enough to understand anything that was conveyed by them.
