Almost any article I’ve read regarding fish oil intake (not just Flameout) has essentially stated to space intake out throughout the day. Even JB recommends some with each meal.

Again, I seriously doubt it’s a big difference, [/quote]
To use Alwyns story, get your big rocks in place. Big rocks are total diet, I would say that fish oil is either a big rock or a smaller rock, spacing is the sand or water.

Hell yes. MCT oil was great along with a large dose of Vitamin C if I was constipated. Cough and clear.

I am having a hard time understanding how it is hard for a person to get 50 grams a day of fish oil if their diet was fatty fish of the cold waters. 50 grams is under two ounces. Wouldn’t be hard for eskimos to get this and then some. @10% fat, we are talking 20 oz of fish in a day.

question:

why don’t you just take the RECCOMENDED DOSE on the bottle instead of consuming rediculous amounts and then wondering about the potential adverse affects??

The fat in fish has a much lower concentration of EFA than fish oil supplements, which have been processed to increase concentration of EPA and DHA. Certainly it is possible to consume 50g of fat per day from fish, but that will yeild only a small fraction of the EFAs contained in an equivalent amount of a quality fish oil product.

When i take 10-14 caps a day my blood pressure drops i have gotten it as low ass 100/55

i dont know if im right on this but i read somewhere that fish oil has negative effects includign cancer. i cant find the article though ahs anyone else read this

I take (22) capsules of Sams Club Extra Strength Enteric coated capsules each day. Split into four doses of 6/6/5/5 pills.

240mg EPA / 200mg DHA per pill.

5.3g EPA / 4.4g DHA / day.

In addition I eat an Omega-3 rich diet: flaxseed, fish, walnuts, omega-3 eggs, etc.

Haven?t noticed any benefits, positive or negative. Been taking this dose for about 5 weeks now, before that I was taking about a 1/3rd as much for many months.
