It would be helpful if you posted the ranges fir the bloodwork but i’m not seeing anythign off here. When test rises estrogen will follow. It’s ok as long as your not having high estrogen sides. Being “amped up” is not an estrogen side.
Good job getting labs mid cycle but what did you expect?
Why are you taking zepbound? Are you carrying a lot of bodyfat?
Yeah. High estrogen is so misunderstood. I had a few high e sides, but rode them out and never touched AI. They quickly disappeared. When you boost your T out of nowhere (i.e. no buildup time for your body to adjust, you are going to have some crazy sides)
Honestly with the rest levels you had prior to your cycle I would not have touched test. You were at the top of the normal range naturally.
I wouldn’t worry about the estrogen unless you have sides.
The white blood count was hiigh because of a course of prednisone. I knew that would draw people’s focus, so I didn’t want to post the whole results. But, that was expected and is temporary.
Trigs have been high. I am taking a doctor pre-scriped Rusovastatin to bring down high cholesterol. You’ll notice that between March 3 and April 5 my Trigs went down from 322 to 236. In addition to the statin, while on cycle I’ve been taking Lipid Stabil and Fish Oil. So, whereas taking testosterone has the potential increase lipids, I was pleased with the April 5 test results for Trigs. I’m making progress.
The first test is not a baseline test. My first injection of Test C was on March 1, second one March 5. I also took .5ml of Anavar on March 1, 2 and 3, 4, and 5. Blood for the first test was drawn on March 5th. I did not do a true baseline test. I should have, but I tested with lowish testosterone about 6 or 7 years ago. I don’t have those test results anymore, but at that time my doctor discussed possible TRT with me, but I decided against it. I have only gotten older, weaker and fatter since then (until now!). I made the decision to do this based on multiple factors. Though I appreciate the insight, I was asking one specific question about the best was to reduce estrogen, mainly because I am noticing rapid emotional responses to stressful stimuli.
I’m trying to lose weight and gain muscle simultaneously. How successful I will be, we shall see. But, on March 1st, I could do no more than 10 consecutive pushups. Today I can do back to back sets of 30. I can see muscle grow when I look in the mirror. Certainly, some of that could be muscle “reemergence” because fat loss. i.e. maybe it is preexisting muscle that I can just see now. It’s probably a mix of both. But I am happy with the progress I am making physically. I just am having a hard time controlling my emotions.
I have to say, this forum has a pretty odd vibe…If I wanted a bunch of criticism, I didn’t need get on line for that. I could have found that much closer to home. Is this cite not intended to be “The Community for Enhanced Fitness?”
My main concern is my current estradiol level, because I believe it is causing me to overreact to stressful stimuli. That seems to track with everything I’ve read. Do you agree that reducing estradiol would help with that particular side effect? If so, what is your recommendation for doing so mid-cycle?
The problem is that you created a post with very little context or info.
Typically with high estrogen you will feel more emotional like you may tear up a little if you see something sad on TV. In my experience overreacting is a sign of high androgen levels not high estrogen.
If you want to lower estrogen, take anastrozole 0.5mg 2x per week for a couple of weeks or exemestane 0.25mg 2x per week for a couple of weeks.
After 2-3 weeks draw up more bloods to see where you are at. There are numerous posts you can search for about lowering e2 on this forum. This may or may not lead to relief of your symptoms. Only one way to find out.
