Don’t know if this has already been posted. It is an old video but new to me.
On Youtube some people thought he was a self-centered jerk who can’t take a joke while others thought he acted appropriately and the interviewers were assholes. What are your opinions?
I saw this back when it first happened. I don’t know what everyone’s problem is here with it. Personally, I think Cruise handled it admirably. I can’t say I would have been nearly so collected.

Russell Crow invented the round house kick he then round housed chuck norris,
chuck was so mad he took all of Russells jokes and put the name chuck norris in them

Could someone please post the link to the thread that featured this clip about 6 months ago? Everything I had to say about this is contained in that thread.
The search function doesn’t work on this stupid work computer of mine, and no way am I going to scroll back through all of my posts page-by-page until I find it.
i kinda think it as in poor taste but at the same time it was interesting to watch tom cruise loose his cool which seems to be happening quite often lately…
despite the fact that he is a good actor he is also a nut job and is involved in a cult known as scientology. i feel bad for his kids because he is probably raising them to believe the same cult beliefs as him…
seriously…tom is pretty odd…and there is no denying that. anyone else think so besides me?

I don’t know what you’re talking about, man.

I had no idea that was Tom Cruise in your avatar until just now.
Tom alienated a significant amount of his fan base when he chided Brooky in public for her struggles with Post Partum depression and subsequent anti-depressant use (Ooooo!..Brooke Shields…I STILL get “tinglys in Happy Places” when I think of when I first saw her as an impressionable Pre-Teen in “Blue Lagoon”…)
I digress…
He’s in sort of a “damage control” mode now that his own money is own the line when he makes films now. (One example is that he invited Brooke to his wedding).

No kidding, I thought it was Mike Meyers as Austin Powers.

LOL! Every time I post the full-sized pic, someone says that.
Even those I’ve gotten along with remarkably well type in “” and stuff like, “I don’t think I’ll think of you the same way again”.
Kind of gives you an eerie feeling, doesn’t it? Like walking in on a friend you thought you knew pretty well and finding him wearing a leather harness and covered in Vaseline?
That’s why I keep The Cruiser (doing the Isaac from The Love Boat double-point) as my avatar. No matter how serious I may get on this forum, life is too short to not include at least a little wackiness in everything you do, and I have yet to find any pic as zany/creepy as this one.

Wouldn’t know about that myself, but please share your story with the group.

Ha ha! Oh, man, you got me!
Here I went and made up a fictional analogy, but you, you go and flip it all around on me and make it look like I was referencing something that really happened. To me no less! LOL! Comedy gold!
It’s like you’re some kind of uncanny comedic ninja, blending in with your surroundings and striking without warning. I mean, your text even blends in to look like mine; instead of being gold so people know it’s yours, it’s grey like a quote! Damn you, you stealthy bastard!
Boy, I’m so embarrassed I think I’ll go crawl under an e-rock and hide from your slashing, stabbing, rapier wit!
Please try and take it easier on me in the future. I have a fragile ego and a small penis.
