Nope, that wasnt me. I had a guy helping me learn hang cleans a few weeks ago, but I got bored with them and moved on. I was the one benching your max on db press as my warm up. Since you dont have much of a clue who I am, how could you assume that I was the one doing cleans? Because youre a prick and you dont like me because I called you out?
I would call going halfway down doing partials, but thats just me. Hell, I thought it was worth posting about in the squat rack curls thread.
You never addressed the temper tantrum you threw when he told you to stop doing your 65 lb skullcrushers and put clamps on the bar. Thats not a very extreme request. Were you afraid that you might have to dump the weight or something?
Were you using DBs or a BB? I ask because I don’t know about you, but for me doing 90lb dumbells is much harder than benching 180. I actually DB pressed 85 six times, then went for 95 and couldn’t get the weight into position because my wrists aren’t strong enough. With Waterbury Method I was hitting 235 BB during the 10x3. However, I have decided to stop BB Benching because for one, my collar bone started hurting afterwards and 2. because I’ve read that BB Bench is pretty easy to get injured doing.
I assumed you were the guy doing cleans because the two guys breaking their backs looked at me weird for a few minutes.
I’ve had people check my form before and tell me I was going down far enough. If you’re than interested I’ll let you come check it, maybe they were wrong, but I get the feeling that you’re just trying to find something to talk shit about.
I didn’t want to put the clamps on because I was super setting barbell curls (Waterbury Method again). After I left, yea, I knew I was in the wrong, however, that guy comes off as a dick towards me every time he has something to say and when I work out the adrenaline starts going and I get more aggressive, as I would assume most people do.[/quote]
Last time I did db press, I pressed the 85’s for 11 on my second set. Proper form for dips requires that you break parallel. You were nowhere near that. So you get to lifting weights and the adrenaline gets going and you get all pissed off an act like a douche? Sorry, thats called being a child.
