If I had the “e” with the accent on my keyboard I would write “touche-with-an-accent-on-the-e,” but seeing as I don’t, I’ll just say: touched! (don’t want Pookie to think I’m iliterat)
Actually, “male juice” is still gonna bust on you… it’s spelled “iliterit”.
Hey! Stop that!
Male Juice…? Wha?
I read this entire thread. I couldn’t help it, I love watching people bickering over spelling and grammar. But when I want to jump in to be a grammar or spelling Nazi, someone else has already corrected them. Damn it!
But I can contribute something. I have a keyboard which supports accents à la whatever, but if you don’t, you can look up the code on this page here:
http://www.yourhtmlsource.com/text/specialcharacters.html
and type it in directly.
For the previously cited point of contention, you can get touché by typing in “touch”, “&”, “acute” and “;” (without quotes or spaces)
Now if only I could think of a cool phrase using α and Ω in context, I’d rule.

The correct form of “its” begins with “T”…

touch´e;
OK, NOW I got it:
“touch” + “&” + “e” + “acute” + “;” = touché

The internet and cell phone texting and blackberries and the like have really lent themselves to bastardising the way we write.
I try not to get too worked up about it, but people just don’t seem to realise how important it is to be able to communicate effectively and accurately.
Typos and other innocent mistakes aside, people need to sharpen up.

It’s actually spelled “realize”.

Lothario, I just saw Chappelle’s stand up from 2004. He is just too funny. Take care, Adam.
And while we are at it, something that has been peeving me for some time:

The plural of penis is NOT “penii”.
“Penis” declines as a 3rd declension noun:

Singular
Nominative - penis - penis (subject)
Genitive - penis - of a penis, a penis’s
Dative - peni - to/for a penis
Accusative - penem - penis (direct object)
Ablative - pene - by/with a penis
Vocative - penis - O penis!
Plural
Nominative - penes - penises (subject)
Genitive - penium - of the penises, the penis’
Dative - penibus - to/for the penises
Accusative - penes - penises (direct object)
Ablative - penibus - by/with the penises
Vocative - penes - O penises!

Show some respect for man’s (and women’s) best friend. Get your grammar right. Thank you.

Not necessarily. The British way of spelling is “realise”.

Argh! It’s “Touch?”. With an “?”, not “e”. If you’re going to use French expressions, please spell them correctly.
Trust me, I know this. I’m working off of an Internet browser and a keyboard. I didn’t bother going to a word document and pull up the symbol. I can’t believe this expression is coming from me but “you’re getting way too anal now”.

According to one of my former English teachers, yes. She would reprimand us for using “chewing gum Engilsh” if we did otherwise.
