The negative side is that I am genuinely fairly unimpressed with my current achievements lifting wise. Given the amount of time I’ve been lifting, it irritates me that most people wouldn’t guess that I lift.

It’s also a conscious effort on my part to remind myself that I’m not a teenager anymore and that I shouldn’t be setting teenager goals.

What you’re saying doesn’t not make sense. But I don’t think holding yourself to high physical standards is immature.
