5 Minute Cool Down Ride
Comments: Upping the intensity on the Peloton this morning. This was undoubtedly the hardest ride I’ve done to date. I saw the 8.4 difficulty level and knew it would be tough but halfway through I was legitimately questioning if this was killing me or making me stronger.
There was as 10 minute interval in Zone 4 that was rough, but a few minutes after that we did ten intervals of: Zone 5 - 0:40, Zone 2 - 0:20. I’m usually pretty good about finishing strong but after all of that I was legitimately smoked. Good stuff…
Damn, that sounds like a hell of a ride man. Almost 22 mph for an hour straight. ![]()
Impressive Trent!

Comments: Ended up staying up for most of the Carolina game last night and then (wisely) went to bed in the second half. Woke up to see that they lost by 1 point. They should have played harder in the first half… Long story short, I got less than 6 hours of sleep last night but got TF after it anyway this morning.
Metcon: This was a good one. I basically did twice the cardio distance that I would do in a single Murph and turned the calisthenics into a 20-minute AMRAP. Surprisingly, I got a PR on that. My previous best was 22 rounds so the extra pull-ups and push-ups got me over that mark. I’ll take it. That second 10K bike ride was awful. I did the 10K Big Sur scenic ride on the Peloton and would not recommend that one. I was riding at 20+ mph and the screen looked like I was going a little faster than a walking pace… That is such a mental battle when you’re already smoked as hell from doing Murph and you have almost 20 minutes on the bike and it looks like you’re going nowhere. LOL Oh well, got it done.
I would say you are well prepped for Murph man. You are crushing it. Sorry to hear your boys lost. My Dawgs are actually going to make the tournament this year. ![]()
Nice! Our best player is out for the rest of the season so we are crashing and burning. He’s probably going in the top five picks in the NBA draft next year too so it will suck to see him go after a disappointing end of the season. ![]()

Comments: Good session. Started in the garage with a Peloton ride and then went to the gym for a whole body session. Put up some decent numbers on my strength lifts and did lots of supersets to keep the HR up. Probably had another 2 reps on that last set of bench but stopped at 4 just in case. Done.
Dang man. That was a hell of a workout. Benching was strong Trent! You had it all in there today again. Those push up numbers are killer too man. Good luck with the weather coming your way. It is a ton of rain and wind, the good news is it gets out quickly
Thanks Shane. It just started here. Pretty gnarly our there. Will be happy when this passes through. ![]()

Comments: So much for recovering from yesterday’s workout… This was a good one though. I guess sometimes you just have to give it hell…. That was 150 reps/calories of each exercise/bike. Definitely going to be feeling that one. LOL
Wow. That is hell of a workout. I have been saying that a lot, but damn, that was a hell of a workout. ![]()
150 reps of anything is tough, but those exercises would have kicked my ass with that many reps. Very impressive.
Ha ha, thanks Shane. I wasn’t really awake this morning so this seemed like a good idea and I thought it was going to take 30 minutes. Not so much…

Comments: Had to change things up this morning so I could be somewhere early for work. Did my long cardio session instead of my second lifting session. Will just switch those days this week. Ended up on my feet all day today carrying a ladder up and down a bunch of stairs. Then came home and mowed the yard this evening. All on 3 hours of sleep…. ![]()
Sounds like a rough day man. Way to get after it and get all that done on 3 hours sleep. You are a beast!

Damn dude, did you do 30 rounds of Cindy or am I reading that wrong? Either way, 20 or 30 rounds, damn impressive as usual Trent. ![]()
Thanks Shane. Yes, 30 total rounds. Those last 20 were miserable, as usual. ![]()
Wow. I am sure they were. ![]()
