Tired of Bad Shoulders

So I’ve had rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders over a 10 year span. I still have trouble with them and seem to tweak them pretty often to the point that think I might have injured them again.

Is there a cycle that can provide real healing or strengthening to tendons? I’ve run NPP before but probably not long enough or high enough. Any advice for me? Deca, HGH, etc? How long and how much?

@physioLojik @systemlord

Anybody?

@studhammer deca can be helpful but HGH is def the way to go there man. Can you get a Rx or are you using UGL. I like GH at 5iu post workout actually

No script. UGL all the way. 5 IU is gonna be costly!

Thank you brother

I used 3iu’s GH after my bicep tendon repair, and gave it to my wife after one of her ankle surgeries. Both times, the docs were amazed at how fast we were healing. And she (finally) stopped having issues with that ankle (was her third surgery on the same ankle - she kept tearing it) - doc also used a different technique where he essentially laced it all together using one long cadaver tendon. My bicep tendon was about a year and a half ago, but no issues for me either.

I used hgh after elbow surgery. Pharma but no script. Yes it was expensive!

Maybe peptides? Sermorelin seems quite popular and is a fraction of the cost of gh. I’m about to start using it this week (for, I kid you not, a shoulder injury that will not go away) so if you’re still dealing with the pain a few months from now I’ll have a data point for you.

Have you tried brachiating? (passive hanging from a bar)

Has helped me. But just see if its OK to do with your injuries.

Game changer for me.

I’m interested in anything that helps. Please keep us posted on your progress

After my initial posting I did a light work out including some light pull downs. That seemed to help, now I’m thinking maybe a pinched nerve or possible bone spur causing aggravation.

Either way it’s a pain

Look into brachiating. The quick break down: your forcing your shoulder to remodel itself to allow more room for the rotator cuff to work properly.

I use to have bad shoulder, couldn’t bench. Now I never even worry about them because I passive hang for about 4- 30 second sessions everyday. 2 minutes total.

I’ll give it a try. Thank you brother!

There is a youtube video with the doctor who professes it, explaining the results. Worth watching for sure.

Basically they rehabbed a bunch of old people using this technique. Range of injuries and deterioration too.

Well that describes me :joy::joy:

Hey , I wanted to thank you. I “hung” last night on both shoulders and definitely got some relief. I’ll be incorporating this into my gym visits. I’d like to hang longer but single arm hangs are way more difficult than both arms. What do you think about using straps to increase time? Would it be detrimental in any way?

I think the limiting factor at the beginning is your grip, definitely.

Don’t use straps yet, your weaker grip will let you slowly build up time on the hang and ease your shoulders into it. Just do 30 second hangs, both arms ( I never did one at a time, but you can) take 2 mins rest and do it again, for 30 seconds. Or spread throughout day. Also, if you absolutely cant hold your weight, you can do assisted, with feet on ground, take some of the weight off.

It literally fixed ALL my shoulder issues. Had some bad impingements and other problems before.

When I wake up after sleeping on it bad, I hang through the day, pain goes away.

Seriously, game changer for me bro.

Thanks. I can definitely do 2 arms no problem but the singles did prove harder since it changes the angle of your grip

@studhammer are you still “hanging” and if so how is it helping?

Yes, but probably not as much as I should. I definitely like the stretching and extension. My hand went numb the other night from laying on my side. I guess I’m pinching a nerve somewhere

HGH is the best recovery so …2IU ED when you 're off cycle and then 4-6IU ED when you 're on cycle. It will defenetly help you. Also use HGH for full year you gonna feel like in heaven :blush:

I definitely want to run GH but it’s a little cost prohibitive right now. $4k a year is pretty steep
