Here is what I think a lot of us who tip well have a problem with. I don’t want to chip in to make up for the jackoffs and dummies that are leaving a buck on a $50 bill…that is why I would prefer to see the costs built into the price of the food, because I would end up paying less at restaurants than I do now…

That’s weird, I know a bunch of people in sales, and not a single one of them has their commission handed directly to them from the people they are selling stuff to. Most commissions are paid by the employers…
Now THAT would be a good start at a workable model…flat rate for everyone, plus [employer-paid] commission based on how much you sell that night…no tips needed!
