Hallowed, thanks for the cheerleading. I appreciate it.
Joe, I am a good eater. Most of the time, I choose to eat clean and carefully. When I decide that its time to go all out, people are amazed at my rapacity.
Thanks Frenchie. I’d seen you do the deficit sumos and it reminded me to try them again.
Patch, I’m hoping you give running outdoors in the cold a try. It gives me a whole new appreciation for winter.
Today’s training was a slow, two mile run. I took one walk break and started coughing, but I didn’t cough while actually running. I feel pretty decent right now, so hopefully this means I can crawl my way back from this plague.
I forgot to mention in my Sunday training recap that I tried ATG squatting with just the bar and discovered that I hit the rail before I get as low as I can go. I’ll have to try this one outside of the squat rack.

YES!! I was hoping to find a dinner description in here.
In the 80/20 rule spirit, I went for Pho this weekend…Complete with Vietnamese coffee, spring rolls, and brownies (by Betty Crocker, not the Vietnamese).
lula, I love Betty Crocker brownies unreasonably much. I know the ingredients are crap (hydrogenated oils and such) but I much prefer brownies from a box to the homemade kind.
Yesterday I was feeling pretty good and thus spent the entire day downhill skiing. I ski hell-for-leather…can’t help it when the conditions are groomed flat with just a bit of ice for heart-stopping adrenaline.
Today I feel like a truck ran over me. That was the most exertion I’ve made in two weeks and it shows. I was supposed to do a bench deload tonight, but am going to rest instead.
Also, today my husband made me go to the doctor because he thought I sounded like a TB patient. No TB, but bronchitis it is. I’ve got an inhaler now to calm my irritated bronchials, and I’m not afraid to use it. cough, cough.
Hopefully the meds will help you sleep. I’ve had it once before and I felt okay for the most part until I went a few nights without sleep. Thats when its started to suck.
