Tiny Freak Goes Ninja

Ha ha! Well any excuse to shop, right?
That’s great news about the running. I’m a slow runner too - it doesn’t matter so long as you enjoy the experience. I find running quite meditative. I really miss it.

Cal, indeed – any excuse. I did the wash and lost one of my expensive Experia running socks (how the hell does that happen??). So I ordered new Smartwool socks to replace them.

Finished the day with a 28 mile road bicycle ride. Although I love fall, I really want to enjoy the last of the beautiful summer evenings.

Thats good news on the run. After the meet I’m going to ease back into it and see if I can do it around my deadlift.

Running really tightens up my hammies so it might not work but we’ll see.

yay for compression tights. i’ve nearly worn out my first pair so i tried a different brand for my second just to see. they are wonderful. they actually have a panel around the knee and my knee feels really supported in them. i’ve actually… started wearing compression tights under my pants for work and really do think they are helping hold my body together. wonderful, wonderful things. glad to hear that your running is progressing well.

Great news on the run! The fall is by far my favorite running season. Enjoy it and your tights!

She’s around, you just can’t see her because…

Because she’s hiding in the rafters?

Cause she’s a ninja. You never see ninjas coming.

Thanks so much for asking after me. I’ll be back as soon as I can.

Glad to see you surface, we were starting to worry about you.

Hoping you’re so quiet because everything is going great.

ya, whats up?

:frowning:

ManFromMA, Joe and Betty, thanks so much for checking up on me. That means alot.

Real life sometimes throws down some serious shit, and I needed some time away from the computer to work through some challenges. The good news is that things are looking better and I’m feeling more like writing here again.

Today I went for a run, the highlight of which was running 2 x 10 min. at a go without any knee pain. My speed is increasing and I’m feeling good when I run, so that has been wonderful.

I’ve been training, but nothing too spectacular. The real beauty of the 5/3/1 plan is how easy it is to just go on auto-pilot when one needs to.

I hope all of you are well and happy, and I look forward to catching up on logs soon.

awww, hope everything is ok.

yeah, people miss you
glad to hear your running is going well.
