Tiny Freak Goes Ninja

Egads, you are a tiny little freak! Your height is bang on average so it’s not as though you’re short, but you must have little bird bones to have such small measurements. I’m amazed you can pull all that weight - your tendons must be like steel cables.
QFT. Wow.

Aha Kimba, I knew you were taller. You look so long in all your pictures.

I’d like to say with all affection, fuck both of you for your calves. mwah

yep, tiny Freak!!!

Ahh, measurements. Ours aren’t that different. Except for the thighs. Ahh, my thighs.

Do you do your chest-supported DB rows facing into an incling bench? I do believe that I must try them.

^I’d love to see your measurements, bird girl, since you are the strongest of the four of us.

Lifting looks good and hitting the best pace had to feel good. I bet your IT band was just part of your hitting a speed you hadn’t done before. That happens a fair bit.
I’m completely comfortable with each one of these measurements and am not looking to change anything. I just was curious.
This is an absurdly refreshing comment. I really appreciate the attitude you have toward your body.

Also, I would love for a day to be as tiny as you are, just to see how it felt to feel so itty bitty yet freakishly strong. On a related note, I’d also love to have super huge tittays for a day. Just for kicks.

Great back shot, and the backdrop is pretty nice too. Keep inspiring girl!!

Maschy, I love seeing your hot, hot avi and reading your encouraging words. Is there a better combination?? I think not.

Cal, I have never thought about my tendons but I like the image of steel cables. I hope you are right!

PP, I think my calves are big too. In fact, they ARE too big for straight leg jeans and we won’t even DISCUSS skinny jeans.

Ironcross, and the thing is that I don’t feel tiny. But thanks!

Hi Betty!

Snapper, yes I face an incline bench (covered with my towel, cause otherwise YUCK) to do the chest supported rows. Its a poor substitute for the machine but it will do. Definitely worth trying.

Spider, I agree – let’s see how Snapper measures up! I’m curious too whether we can uncover the secrets to her strength.

Joe, this IT band thing is so frustrating. Just when I think its beaten back, out it comes to annoy and harass.

cholulalula, in general I am not very judgmental about myself or of others. My body image is probably too high for my own good (vanity, thy name is KIMBA). I’m not really curious about big tits. But if I could have one thing for a day it would be two working eyes instead of just one. How does the world look in 3D, I wonder?

UpScale, thanks and I intend to keep on, keepin’ on!

I trained on Sunday later than usual and ran smack dab into a weight room full of high school age boys, being as loud and obnoxious as high school boyz are. Woe is me, I don’t train with an ipod or headphones so I was totally fucked. Honestly, I just wanted to leave because I wasn’t in the mood for that, but stayed and by the end of my workout the weight room was back to normal.

My left knee was still annoying me, so I passed on squats.

Bench Press (5/3/1 week)
Bar 1 x 5
73.5# 1 x 5
83# 1 x 3
93# 1 x 1 <–butt WAY off bench but I’m counting it.

BBB 67# 5 x 10 <–this is the most weight I’ve ever done in the BBB interface

I supersetted the BBB with the pullthroughs to give me more time to recover between sets

Cable Pull-throughs

52.5 1 x 10
57.5 1 x 10
62.5 1 x 10
67.5 1 x 10
72.5 1 x 10

I’m rapidly running out of stack on these.

Dips
Dip belt + 15 lbs. 2 x 10

supersetted with

Low cable rows
70 1 x 10
85 1 x 10 <–this was slightly too much weight for perfect form

why no Mp3 player Kimba?
it has saved me from many a bad day.

Music distracts me from the experience of lifting. I’m also a huge klutz and cannot manage the earphones without entangling myself in cordage.

I don’t run with tunes either. My preference is to have the time to myself in silence.

I really love silence.

You are very kind. When people are annoying me at the gym I just keep saying mean but true things until they leave.

I’ll oblige when I can. And thanks for the compliment.

I dumped these because I just never seemed to get much out of them.

Nice bench! I’d take it! Was it paused? I often set up with my butt slightly off the bench in the gym because I’ve found that the benches there are super low compared to competition benches. I’ve never been called for butt lift on the platform.

Nice bench, Kimba, I’d count it. Do your feet ever start to slip on those pull-throughs?

As for this:
“PP, I think my calves are big too. In fact, they ARE too big for straight leg jeans and we won’t even DISCUSS skinny jeans.”

I would kill for bigger calves. People used to joke they were afraid I’d break a leg in a ditch and they’d have to shoot me. (you know, because my calves were like a colt’s legs… oh nevermind)

Kimba: Bench is looking very strong. Nice work on those BBB sets!

Stupid newbie question, but what do you mean by “paused bench”? Are you pausing when it’s on your chest, before you push up? And how long? I am befuddled.

My first experience with big calves was being unable to put on my older brother’s riding boots when I was in high school. It wasn’t funny at the time. About jeans, sometimes I try a pair of skinnys and I never get to see if they’d fit around the hip, because they don’t pass the over the calf or knee test. Kind of funny to have them around my ankles and say “Nope, these don’t fit!” LOL! Thanks for the compliment, Spidey.

what a noble desire for just one day. i’m not sure it’s all that different. you know enough about people to know that most are bastard covered bastards with a hard bastard filling. get to know more people, there’s just more of it.

see the world in 3D, there’s just more of it. although I suppose it would be a novel experience. where would you like to see, if it could happen?

I am in the big calf club - mine are almost 15 inches. I remember buying some kinky thigh boots and could barely get them to zip up. It’s purely genetic - I got them from my mother who got them from her father. They were 14" even as un untrained teen. I don’t train mine either but I do run which gives them a good workout. They are always tight - getting ART on them is usually agonising.

I am sorry about the ITB niggles - it can be very persistant. Try tennis-balling your TFL as sometimes tightness in the ITB can originate in the hip. It might also help if you pulled conventional. Best of luck!

male stripper club? heyo!

If I had 1 day left to see things I would spend time with my family to memorize their faces, dive a coral reef and walk through the woods. Nothing like the green of nature in full bloom.

somehow I would need to fit in shoe shopping too… damn, so much to do. lol.

nice pressing- and your runs sound good
good progress

you are freaking tiny

I am 5’5" too.
