Time to Nut up or Shut up

Is 255X2 completely raw a PR for you, Mighty? Or do you have no idea what your completely raw numbers are? :stuck_out_tongue:

Looked back in my log and 255 x 2 is rep PR at that weight raw. However, I think my best set was 235 x 9 raw when I was peaking for the meet in November. I wasn’t wearing oly shoes then and I think had just done a month of only high bar squats.

rower- 2450m in 15 minutes. Probably slower today because of the hockey game last night.
elliptical- 1.45 miles in 15 minutes.

7/5 - Friday - Deadlift C11W2

Did paused deadlifts for the first time today. Stopped pretty much right after I got it off the ground. Also did barbell rows for the first time in forever.

We’re off to a slow start. Finally won a game, even though the other team had pulled in a ringer.

Dallas was good. Lifted at a 24 Hour right by the hotel, met up with some friends

We had to get rid of our “ringer” this season. He got multiple goals like every game! lol We’re still a good team without him though.

nice pull! you made 415 look pretty easy. Sumo for short guys always looks like a leg press + back lockout to me

During warm ups the weights were feeling light, so I knew it would be a good day…and a good day it was. I know high rep maxes aren’t the best for estimating 1rm, but I hit my best estimated max ever on the bench today regardless.

Yea, I just wanted to get a little bit of a pump. I pretty much never go higher than 30s on db curls though. I like to stick with higher reps.

It’s great to see things are going well for you. :slight_smile: What are up with the 95 pound good mornings? Is it mostly for flexibility/getting blood in there? Since it seems a little low for someone with your deadlift. (I am just curious)
