Time to Get Wifey Preggo

47 (M) been on T, TRT, for about 5 years. Just had my labs done and all my numbers look great except of course my LH and FSH which both read as <0.3.

I’m not terribly concerned or surprised as I know I’ve been running T a long time and my system isn’t on but how difficult will it be to get it functional? Also, any one here been thru this and had a successful protocol?

Also, will I have to go off T completely?

Thanks

Yeah, there is really no point in testing FSH and LH while on testosterone.

There are options, going off testosterone and using hCG and/or Clomid, adding hCG and Clomid to your current testosterone, or test with hCG or Clomid.

Staying on test and adding hCG has a pretty good track record. You could start there. I’d take at least 750IU to 1500IU weekly, split. If using hCG monotherapy, 3000IU.

I have a guy succeed recently with test, hCG and clomiphene.

Thank you for your response… Does Somatropin (HGH) add anything to the equation one way or the other?

BTW, i’m using about .45 2x week Test Cyp and Test was 1403. Seems high for the amount I’m taking but I feel great, so… lol!

Definitely check out @Singhbuilder fertility log.

I don’t have much to add, other than good luck! I will be 47 next month and am getting ready to be an empty nester.

That hurt lol… I was about to be an empty nester then I did two things I said I would ‘never’ do. Remarried and then committed to more children. Man plans, God laughs…

For fertility, no

That’s OK, kids will keep you young.

As for your 1403, I’d probably leave it since you feel great. It would be interesting to know your free testosterone level though.

Good luck.

My girl has had no problem conceiving while I’ve been on trt. The only weird thing that TRT has done, is that all my kids are half black.

That’s not an amount that’s a volume. Please advocate for your health and know your dosage of every medication you take. It will pay off in the future.

Yeah. I had two kids from 1000 IU HCG thrice per week with TRT.

What does your doctor suggest for fertility?
