Time Off Nutrition

While taking a week off do you keep up on the supplements ie. Surge, Metabolic Drive, ect. or do you eat healthy food without the extras. Just want to let the body rest, I beat it up pretty good the last two months.

Surge I wouldnt as I wouldnt be training if taking time off. Metabolic Drive sure I would if I needed a quick meal with protein.

Again, I must agree with Phil, Surge is generally used as a post workout recovery drink and has too many high glycemic carbs for non training days.

If on your week off you still want to preserve muscle or gains you made you should keep your protein intake adequate for this, so in addition to your whole feed a Metabolic Drive shake or two will help to ensure you keep what you got.
