The 275 PR was no spotter. The 280 was missed then had a spotter who said he only lifted a little ont he right side. I’m really digin the floor press, well worth it. Need more weight.

Now its off to a spring training game and if tonight is anything like this afternoon, I will crawl in traffic for about an hour and a half in the 'burbs. Woohoo. Life is good.

No, OMP, I’m in a rental. A convertable, which I am thinking as a group of cars, is a little overrataed. Went the Grand Canyon yesterday, a large breath taking hole. Impressive. Only had about 40 minutes there, but there is only so many different views of the same hole. We got there late in the day and didn’t have enough time for any of the tours. But the drive up and back was beautiful. There is some real pretty stuff in Arizona. Especially around Sedona. It is worth a trip if you can make it.

Front squats felt good.
Back squats needed work. I felt like I couldn’t get deep enough and just not alot of strength today

I am now going to commit heresy and leave 5/3/1 for a few cycles. I think I am going to switch to EDT. The program that changed the way I do things in the gym. I will spend my deload week finding my 10 rep max in certain lifts and finding my stopwatch. But tomorrow is my last day of spring training baseball. Which has been great. then back to Dallas where it SNOWED Saturday night.

Well after a long week off and My last day of work I decided I needed to get my ass in the gym again. I am going to break from 5/3/1 and do some EDT.

It was a good warm up to get back. I think I will do 3 cycyles 4-5 weeks each each, changing out each set of excercises every 4-5 weeks. And doing some arms at the end to round it out.

Need to up the weight on my first session, I had good depth on my squats and my left shoulder was tracking a little tot he outside and hurt some, I think i will go back to FG’s and see how it feels there.

What is EDT? Extra deload time? Empty da trash? Sorry, my wife just called from the kitchen.

EDT stands for Escalating Density Training. It was created by Charles Staley. And it eats fat pretty damn well. Leaves me gasping for air. And when I’m not, I know i havent gone hard enough.

Started with Bulgarians first. All the bench’s were taken. Think it really effected my deadlifts. Even though it took 14 minutes for one to clear up. At least everyone was actually working not just taking up space.

Its great spring is here. I get more time on the bike, got a new helmet. But in North Texas its mostly wind. Doesnt kill the ride, just makes you hang on for dear life.

Left shoulder felt much better with the FG’s. Think I will stick with them for a while.

Nice work…consistent and lots of volume. What is the “FG” on your DB shoulder presses?

Looks like you’ve found a good program. I admire the volume.
Someone told me last night you can do squats every day with lighter weight and high volume. I’m not ready to take up that challenge, I might get swole.

Skip I think He uses Fat grips.

New program has lot of volume and you move quickly. I like it. Have fun on the bike.

Strick, FG stands for fat gripz, km high volume does feel good on the joints. And yes, eco, this does have lots of volume and 15 minutes sometimes doesnt feel all that fast.

right shoulder hurt on incline bench, got better at the end
Had to wait for two assholes to get finished doing curls so I can get into the squat rack.
Squats were deep and I will up the weight agin next time.

My left shoulder is sensitive if I don’t warm it up. An old injury of some sort but inclines definitely talk to me. I’m working on dislocates as a warm up and they seem to help.

Hows the program working out?
