The cross country team is looking for staff members to run in the 2 mile inter-squad competition they are having on Friday. I usually don’t run much because of the wear and tear on my back and hips. However, I may make an exception on this occasion. Today’s 1-mile run was a sort of test to see how I felt and how I performed. I’m pretty sure I could maintain this pace for 2 miles. We’ll see.

The cross country coach invited staff to participate in a 2 mile run with the team. The senior captains drafted us into different teams and the times were added up to determine the winner.
At school- 0.25 jog around the track. Various running drills the seniors led us through.
2 mile run around cross country course. 17:04 (Fastest adult) :slight_smile:
I tracked the run on my AppleWatch. My average heart rate was 157 and the max was 173. It is so much easier to get my heart rate up running compared to biking. Perceived exertion was somewhat hard.
