Fucking Ridiculous!
Who much of that money did she earn?
So what if he shagged every cunt in North America.

Never mind this cheating scandal or any secrets that the ex-wife may have, his image is not going to survive giving 750 mill when that`s a lot more than half of what he has. His whole life is fast turning into a joke.

There are damned few people that have $750 million in anything that could be converted to cash very quickly.
Good point.
That kind of money is way over my head, I mean I can keep a pretty decent scoreboard in 501 and multiply by 45, but anything over a few grand is unfathomable.
You a dartplayer there Diana?

Lots of people speculated about how the destruction of his marriage would affect his play on the course.
Lets now speculate about how the loss of $750,000,000.00 will affect his play on the course. He will NEVER be as good a golfer ever again, and consequently will NEVER earn as much money as he once could.
$750,000,000.00 is such an embarrassment of riches it is beyond conceptualization.

Agreed…but it has a much larger effect than just that on all of us. Women are watching this and agreeing with it. They aren’t seeing it as a ridiculous play of the judicial system. Therefore, any of us who get married with any money in the bank risk the same future if she should ever get pissed off about something.
This is why I may either simply not get married or will demand a prenupt. Getting married without that today is only a good idea if you don’t have shit to your name and don’t plan on ever owning shit.
I love how people are so two-faced. I too am hearing all this crap about how she’s entitled to a fortune because she got cheated on…this from a bunch of women who’ve all cheated on their current or past boyfriends and probably still are, of course I am sure they had a good reason the guy probably wasn’t rich enough or didn’t have a 14 inch dick or something… Gotta love it, fucking bs.

I think you’ll be surprised what good performance and a few years will do to his image.
Koby fucking raped a chick (allegedly).

I like to tell my wife that half of nothing is still nothing. I also tell her “you can leave but I’m coming with you”!
I think it’s funny that people have said this is what’s wrong with America’s divorce system. This is a settlement. Privacy has a cost, and he was willing to pay for it. If he’d litigated this, it would have been much, much uglier and more public, even though it would’ve saved him several hundred million dollars.
Neither one of them deserved all of what they got in this relationship.

Joke:
Q: You know why divorce is so expensive?
A: Because it’s worth it!

I’m not saying his best golf is ahead of him, but let’s not underestimate the focus that the greatest golfer of all time must have to be that good in the first place. Not to mention a couple years will pass and he will eventually come to term with both losses (his wife and the money).
Edit - Plus he’s still got 20 years of golf ahead of him.
I don’t know, it’d take me a couple thousand lifetimes to come to terms with the loss of $750,000,000.00.
I can’t even fathom the number of skeletons (>750MM?) Tiger must have in his closet to pay her SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY MILLION DOLLARS AND NO CENTS and THE CUSTODY OF HIS OWN FLESH AND BLOOD, to keep her mouth shut.
Good God, there should be a well defined, discreet, monetary CAP to the amount of money a woman (or man for that matter) should be able to receive in a divorce settlement. $750MM is so far beyond the practical application and intention of the law it makes me SICK.
Edit: I know I’m getting into some murky legal waters there (divorce settlement vs. keep your mouth shut settlement), and I’m not a lawyer, but the sheer sum of $750,000,000.00 has rendered me incapable of rational and logical thought.

Although I’m still disgusted and still think our divorce system sucks big balls (even if this case doesn’t demonstrate that).
3 billions people live with less than 2$ per day
Maybe I’m a lone horse here, but I truly don’t give a shit if she rapes tiger woods of that money, and maybe thats why I’m not as sympathetic as others. The man plays fkn golf and is worth damn near a billion dollars, meanwhile people are getting laid off all over the country, teachers are severely underpaid and still getting laid off, prisoners are being freed because of crowding in prison, old people are dying because their health insurance.
Most doctors even brain surgeons or R&D scientists who devote every ounce of their lives and focus trying to save the lives of children and innocent people from disease will NEVER come close to accumulating this kind of wealth. But tiger swings a club and knows how to market himself and we’re supposed to feel sorry for him because his wife only left him with a couple hundred million dollars?? I say who gives a shit how much she takes, he’s still got more money then he’s worth IMO.
Boohoo tiger, I’m not losing any sleep over that idiot.
ProX does have a point in that women are using this as an example, but men should use this as an example. Get a prenup, dont tear it to peices, and stick to the marriage contract you signed, if not be prepared to fall back on your prenup and your lawyers or you will get screwed. /of rant.
On a side note, why are all the attractive young girls on this site from Canada?? What’s in the water over there?

Simply because you give AC so much crap - I just wanted to let you know this is real communist talk right here. Tiger is “worth” whatever he earns, regardless of how silly you think that is. There is a demand for Tiger Woods that people are willing to pay for. He’s a very rare commodity.
Is this 750M AFTER paying the lawers and forensic accountants? If not, she’ll probably wind up with about 300M. HA!
Is this a lump sum, or some type of annuity?
I read that originally Tiger’s net worth was just over 1B, but this woman’s team of pitbull forensic accountants and lawyers were able to trump up his worth to almost 2B, probably with that whole “lifetime earning potential” bullshit.
I would have just LOVED to tag along with those accountants on this case. It must have been fun, fun, FUN!
I wonder what exactly he is going to have to sell off to pay for this divorce.
But then again, it might end up as much less than 750M. I mean, Tiger’s law team are probably the best his money can afford, right?
Um yeah, they don’t teach you how to value the future “perception” or “marketability” of an athlete in business school. I would love to see that valuation. There’s a saying we use in financial analysis (and valuation for that matter) - “Garbage in, garbage out.” I wonder what the advisory fees on that valuation were - probably astronomical and absurd - just like everything else about this story.
I’ve got a new pick up line for all the guys out there:
“Hey, can I buy you a drink or do you just want the money?”
I’ve learned four things from all of this…
White Wimenz is the devil
Never get married (Fuck that Common law shit…if they still do that)
Hide your cash/assets
If you’re gonna cheat, cheat with something better than what you got.
Five 2’s =/= One 10

The divorce story is false. I can’t find it on major news sites. Apparently $750mil exceeds his net worth. It would have required jaw-dropping stupidity on his part anyway.

No communist talk would be me saying they should take his money and give it away to the poor. I’m a capitalist thru and thru… His wife earned that money, she may not have worked very hard for it (a lot of rich people don’t work very hard) but she earned it. She was dealt a hand that she played to her max and got every dime she could for it. Thats capitalism at it’s best, seeing an opportunity and seizing it! Any rich business man would have done the same if he saw an opportunity to make this kind of money, even if it was on the back of a major corporation. I do realize how messed up it is, but I was just giving a reason for why I don’t particularly feel sorry for tiger. He used his abilities to get filthy rich, and he will continue to be rich, just not as rich. His wife used her abilities to get filthy rich as well. This is what business is all about…
And AC is a fkn communist… The only reason he comes here is to practice his english, which he first picked up in a Russian Prison from his American POW cellmate. true story.
