Thyroid Hormones?

In a person with normal Thyroid levels, what does extra thyroid feel like? Do you feel warm? Palpitations?

Crap. That is what you will feel like.
I used T3 once. I was tired and hungry all the time. My body temp did rise a bit because I would sweat like crazy when I worked out. I have heard some report that their legs feel heavy and slow. But all I wanted to do while I was using T3 was eat and sleep. I didn’t like it.

Enjoy!

i have used T4.
You feel warmer… nothing more nothing less

Will it raise your SHBG (directly or indirectly)?

What exactly are you trying to achieve?

Sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) is a glycoprotein synthesized by the liver. Circulating androgen and estrogen concentrations influence SHBG synthesis. Elevated testosterone, for example, causes SHBG synthesis to decrease, whereas high estrogen stimulates SHBG production. The regulation of SHBG synthesis, combined with SHBG’s higher affinity for testosterone, impacts bioavailable testosterone levels.

Excessive T3 or T4 will indirectly raise everything - IMHO more bad than good.

I was curious.

For some reason I thought it was produced in the Thyroid as well.

Thanks.

I have been using a 50 mcg dose of T4 and Clen at 100 mcg (every couple of weeks) for the last several months. I will feel warm and on occassion hot. T3 effects my workouts more than T4. Good for fatloss if you don’t abuse…

Are the effects acute?

Like if it’s cold outside and you take some T3, will you get warm?

And I’m guessing symptoms depends on what your thyroid levels were before. Quite a bit of people don’t have optimal thyroid levels to begin with…

T3 & T4 are hormones. Takes about 3 to 5 weeks to start noticing a difference. You must take on an empty stomach with a lot water and cannot eat/drink anything for about and hour or so, so that nothing interferes with uptake (like iron or calcium).

Few posts have mentioned weight loss. This is true, but in my expereinces…the muscle loss is greater/faster than fat loss.

My expereince comes from having SEVERE thyroid problems, having my thryoid completely removed, lots of reading and research, and taking about over a year to get all my blood levels balanced. Now, I’m a 6’4", 270, about 20% (+ or - 10% LOL)BF and into PL.
