Proviron (25mg) & T3 Replacement Doses Year-Round

I have been reading a lot about Proviron. It seems to be two different camps. It’s a sex drug for libido or it is a “wingman” that allows for more free test.

I would have to say based on a lot of compelling research I would say it frees up test. I also have read that 25mg has shown no impact on HTPA axis and that the only negative is a slight dip in cholesterol but again minimal. I also read about a slight impact on weight loss due to stopping some estrogen, which contributes to fat storage.

So my thought is that I would like to run this year-round as a way to have more available test, and maintain gains between blasts, slight weight loss, and libido.

I am considering putting myself on a full replacement dose of T3 25mcg as I have two thyroid diseases and my thyroid function is low (currently on T4 to just get in the high normal range). I’m tired of the struggle. I was told it likely within 5 years to be on a full replacement dose
anyhow.

So overall questions:
Proviron - Does anyone on here run this year-round? Any negatives? What positives have you seen?

T3 - Does anyone on here run this year-round? Any negatives? What positives have you seen?

Combo if anyone can comment on if 25mg Proviron would be enough (or have any) to impact catabolic aspects of T3 @ 25mcg daily

No proviron wont help to maintain gains or negate the catabolism of T3.
When you read about stuff all drugs sound like miracle drugs, and all side effects of everything seem deadly. In reality it all works at around 10% of what’s written.

I guess that is why I didn’t gain 30 lbs of muscle on anadrol like the article I read said I would.

Maybe, I’ll buy that articles alternative legal product instead next time :grinning: It is supposed to work just as well haha.

In the world of AAS, everything comes with a cost. If it is mild, then you have to take a shit ton of it to do anything, and then as a whole it isn’t mild.

Proviron is not a good AAS for building muscle tissue, just like DHT sucks compared to Testosterone.

It may increase libido, but lots of androgens can do that, as well as increase gains. I’ve never felt like I needed my libido higher while blasting Test. In some cases I’d have taken lower.

You could also just take 25 mg more Test a week.

I’ve done this. I have done 25 mcg of T3 for several months, went up to like 75 mcg for awhile. I stayed a fat ass while on it. I was thinking at the time that thyroid was my issue. My issue was my diet sucked, and I was drinking a lot. I did have labs showing thyroid wasn’t great.

T3 made me sweat more (always felt warm), and on the higher doses I thought my heart was beating faster.

I cut out the T3. My thyroid function was probably in the gutter, but I cleaned up my diet, drank less and got fairly lean.

A lot of these things are connected. Some people see thyroid function improve when they get in shape or cut out bad habits.

Even if you go on T3, the difference in your metabolic rate is going to be like 100 calories a day realistically. That adds up, but it’s also like 5 minutes of cardio, or eating one less slice of bread. Don’t expect it to make you shredded.

See above. I didn’t think T3 was worth it (did it through the Dr., then on my own).

The caveat here is there are some people who actually do have legit thyroid issues. Mine was technically an issue, but borderline with lab values (just under). I wouldn’t do it, unless labs said it was quite bad. What are your labs for thyroid with ranges?

No doubt on the whole huge gains aspect. Really more to help maintain. The T3 is not a huge dose and is just maintenance on the high end.

I am on day 1 of week 8 of a Tren/Test/Tbol cycle (12 weeks)

Added in a little clen for a few weeks and some Proviron through pct.

So did a huge recomp and sitting at 197.5 this morning (I have gained 1lb so far this cycle). I just want to maintain it until the next cycle. Likely running a Tren/Test/DHB cycle.

The thing I’ve found that actually works as a diet drug is semaglutide. It isn’t a stim. It is a diabetes drug, but approved by the FDA recently for weight loss under the brand wegovy. Ozempic is the diabetes version of the same drug (which is also Rx’d off label for weight loss). It mainly works because it reduces appetite. There are other things it does, but IMO, that is the main thing. I feel it is safer than clen or DNP, especially if keeping the doses low.

I don’t like the idea of clen or T3 for weight loss. Both speed up the heart to burn more calories (especially when using AAS which also are hard on the heart). I don’t like the idea of abusing the heart to burn fat, when I could just do a bit more cardio (and actually improve heart health, vs just stress it). Maybe if getting on stage to compete, but even then IDK if I’d do it.

Just giving you my opinion here.

Appetite is not the issue. My thyroid is. I have eating 1600 for maintenance at 200lbs.

TSH was super high. Also Hashimotos. Already on thyroid meds from doc. Just not enough.

I have been taking T3 at least 25mcg for the last two months, now at 75mcg currently for next month.

It has brought my body temp up from 96.0 degrees to 98.6 where it is supposed to be. It does give me the shakes slightly.

Again I get it must people on this forum that post stuff like this are shitty fat fucks that have shitty diets. I lift consistently. do 30 -60 minutes of cardio 5x a week. I eat extremely healthily. My maintenance now that I have been on thyroid meds is about 2100 calories. Prior to that, I ate less than my 120lb 5’6 wife (1600 calories, no shit). So it’s not my diet, it’s not my exercise. It’s my thyroid.

25mcg t3 will just get me normal. Again It’s not an out-of-shape thing affecting this. I have Hashimoto’s and some other disease that is some guy’s name that fucks your metabolism/body temp.

TSH 8.7
Antibodies was 880 (I think the normal range is under 9)
Dont remember what the t4/t3/ free was. I’d have to look but it was pretty out of range.
