ONe more question…How do you do oly lifts as ‘7 sets of 5’ without using poor form or too light a weight? Would it work better doing singles every 30 seconds or so for 20-30 mins? I’ve just recently started doing cleans, and snatches and I’d like to continue doing them.

ruglayer beat me to it: You mentioned in the original article that the OLAD harkens back to old Oly-lifting routines.

In addition to rug’s question about rep ranges (doubles and singles for the C+J, doubles and triples for the snatch?) I would like to know whether you would just do the lifts several days a week, like:

Monday - Snatch
Tuesday - C+J
Wednesday - Rest
Thursday - Repeat

or whether you would devote some of your OLAD workouts to assistance exercises, like:

Monday - Snatch
Tuesday - C+J
Wednesday - Rest
Thursday - Snatch Pull
Friday - Front Squat
Saturday - Rest
Sunday - Rest or repeat
