Three Questions

I wasn’t throwing out my opinion like it was gospel at all, you take it that way. I’m not talking about Soylent protein (never even heard of it), but rather protein made for humans, not FROM humans.

As for Oleena, grats, your in the minority of people who don’t get shitty (literally) effects from cow protein!
Eh, you still threw it out there like it was fact. You know how many people use whey and it works just fine?

It might make good discussion, but don’t go around saying to not use it (i know, i know…you said just post workout). It’s very misleading, especially when you didn’t give any reasons…or examples of said human proteins.

Ever considered that you’re just one of the 10-20% of people out there who are lactose intolerant?

Whey works great for the vast majority of the lifting population.

Like I said, look into 100% Soylent Super. It’s even endorsed by Kai Green. If you’re unsure about the quality, you can make factory tours at their compound.

This is slightly irritating because I can see how Splenda would be interested in reviewing and squashing a study like that and I can also see how the sugar company would be interested in doing away with Splenda.

true…

but, that is literally the only study showing a negative effect(there are zero in humans)…i go with the majority until proven otherwise…The sugar companies should have found more evidence against splenda by now, but they haven’t…

i also felt the duke study was strange…they used a small amount of rats(all males), and they didn’t control the rat’s diets…

The expert panel claimed that the Duke study failed to give the rat’s the same diet because splenda does contain carbohydrates(each pack is 3.75 calories due to the maltodextrin it is binded on)…
In any case, I really hope the majority of studies is correct because I love splenda.

I even did the calculations to see how many tablespoons of splenda I could hypothetically eat, according to the 1.1mg/kg new regulation proposed by the squashed study, and it came out to be ~5tbsp.

I tried it and didn’t like it at all, I thought it tasted gamey.

I contacted the company and told them I wanted a refund. I’ve got to say, they have terrific customer service. They said all I had to do was stop by the factory, they’d refund my money, and have me for dinner. it’s nice to see a company that cares about it’s customers.

So…mother’s milk? What other protein source is made for humans? How is whey protein (microfiltered whey isolate for instance) not made for humans? This statement just doesn’t make sense.
Someone else answered the first part of your question. Whey is derived from cow’s milk… last I checked you weren’t one.

I lol’d. You know how many people use whey and complain about it?

I’m handcuffed with what I can say on here, and I’m not a rep for another company. Theres nothing misleading if your allowed to do your own research. I didn’t rob your eyes and then tell you to follow the road did I? Saying “human proteins” should have sufficed, until someone started up with this Soylent shit (wtf is that?)

I love milk and have been drinking it without stopping for years, and never had any negative effects. Much of my initial 10 lb gain I could equate to having a GALLON of milk for BREAKFAST. This is why I get mad when skinny douches tell me “oh my god I cant gain weight, but I eat so much!!”

Going to have to disagree yet again with the whey working great. I have many clients all day every work day coming to me complaining about whey protein and asking if there is something else.

I’m not looking into Soylent Super. I don’t sell it and am thus not interested.

Lol, yes…OP never said anything about whey bothering him. Yet you tell him to stay away from it.

By misleading, i meant to the the thousands of newbs that lurk this site everyday.

If I think HP is better than whey why wouldn’t I tell him to stay away from it? What kind of logic is that?

I don’t really care about newbs. I run a business, not a charity.

I’m not going to argue that some people don’t handle whey well, but I noticed that the brand of whey (iow, quality) has made a difference for some clients. I’ve had digestive issues with Designer Whey and another brand I’m not remembering the name of. Now I stick to Gold Standard Whey, and have never had a problem.

I’m actually interested in seeing what the protein you’re talking up is about. Can you throw up a link?

No I can’t, Biotest doesn’t carry it, and you know how they are about posting competitors links. This is what I meant by “being handcuffed”. Read D Public’s post on page 1… timestamp is 2:58.
